Intimate and distinctive, the property blends seamlessly into its natural surroundings—each room carved from the rock itself, offering a rare combination of space, comfort, and a deep connection to nature. It's unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. Alexis went above and beyond to welcome us personally, share outstanding local recommendations, and ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. While some may question the online star rating, don’t let it fool you—this is a hidden gem. The rating reflects the absence of certain big-hotel amenities, not the quality of the experience. If you’re looking for something soulful, unique, and deeply memorable, this is the place. You’ll fall in love.

We had seriously the best experience in this hotel. The hotel looks like an aesthetic masterpiece (traditional with top quality in every detail) and the owner feels more than an artist fighting to make his work always better and better. The hotel is in balance between art and history. Alexis provides by far the best hospitality you can ever find and he seriously wants to provide you the best side for this island. We did all his suggestions and all of them were to the point. His team is amazing. The breakfast was also the best quality you will ever taste. Most products were natural and homemade.

Could not have a better stay for my first time in Syros. Alexis, Magdalini, Dimitris and Antonella are absolute stars. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were comfortable, spacious and very cool beside the Greek summer heat. They accommodated all requests and were on standby for when we needed a taxi. On our last night, they upgraded us to a deluxe room. Definitely coming back!

A beautiful address in Syros, the room is magnificent, the breakfast with a view is very beautiful but what makes it charming is Alexis and his team so adorable and attentive.

We stayed for 2 nights at Wind Tales hotels and it was amazing. -Big thank you to Tonia, Dimitris and Alexis for making our stay memorable. Their recommendations, friendliness and professionalism really make us feel comfortable, relaxed and easily feel integrated in the rich culture of Syros. -The rooms itself were super cozy and really unique, I loved every aspect from the design and the super comfy beds. - The breakfast was really unique and you can feel flavors like never before. Alexis really poured his soul to find the best ingredients for us. We loved and will miss it a lot!!! -The location is perfect to see Ano Syros and close to many unique restaurants, cafe and bars (like 5-8 min walk). However, as this hotel is located in a medieval town on mountain, you should expect some stairs walking, which in my opinion made the stay even more unique. We would definitely stay again and recommend this to everyone else! Best, Virada and Yuriy
