Ano Potamos is in Aegiali bay, at the northwestern side of Amorgos island.

    We absolutely loved our time at Uranos Studio. The whole place is so lovely and beautiful. Clean and cosy rooms, amazing view, and a lovely and caring team. Good to know: To get to the town you should be good by foot, it's a lot of stairs, but we also enjoyed this part.

    It was truly a wonderful stay! We arrived in the middle of the night on Halloween and there was no issue with a pick up - really appreciate that! Mrs Despina is very kind and helpful with anything we needed, great energy too and always replying to messages. She helped us to organize the car too and gave tips for restaurants. Uranos is a gorgeous property, I love the aesthetic outside. Our room was basic, simple, but clean and good enough. The view from the balcony is wonderful! I would love to be back one day! Just one star less for the location as it's difficult to go around if you don't have a car. Might be challenging for people with asthma or any disability to walk plenty of stairs and steep paths. Also no shop in any close distance. But if you rent a car, it's a perfect stay!

    Quite possibly the best part of our trip through the Cyclades! The reservation process was simple and the manager Despina was contacting us by email prior to our arrival to ensure they were ready for us. They even offered to pick us up from the Aegiali port. As soon as we arrived, the staff member Nina was waiting for us to help carry our bags up the steep set of stairs and promptly showed us to our room. The room was clean, stocked with toiletries, coffee, tea, jams, and various pots/pans/utensils. One could easily cook a meal in the kitchen. The room we selected, the Panoramic Sea View, offered an incredible balcony with lots of privacy. The view was incredible. The bed was comfortable. The property was very peaceful. I would highly recommend staying at Uranos.

    Very friendly staff; Nikos helped us up with the luggage trown the steep stairs!!! (not for people with reduced locomotion). They offered a very nice homemade jam and local honey. The appartament was clean, the kitchen was equiped with the necessary itens for simple cooking (the cooktop is small - 2 stove burners, no oven). We shared the appartament with a couple of friends, and only do this if you have intimacy, because one bedroom is actually with the kitchen, so in order to go to the WC you have to go through the double room. The balcony has an incredible view, and its very quiet. I would highly recommend staying at Uranos!

    Fantastic view and very nice people. We loved this peaceful place up on the hill (and even the steep way up)
