Ray Hotel

We were vacationing as a family, 4 people. Very nice hotel, clean, staff very nice. We ate twice, breakfast and dinner. Every day a new menu, everything is fresh and tasty. The beach is on site, you need to go down the stairs. There is always enough space for everyone. You can also use free surfboards. Due to its location in the north of Greece, Corfu has a milder climate than other Ionian islands. Even in the hottest months, the temperature rarely exceeds +31°C. The sea is beautiful, the coast is rocky, you can also enter the sea from the pier near the hotel from the shore. I definitely recommend it, the hotel is a real resort paradise. In the evenings there is live music. I recommend and we will definitely come back to you🥰🤗

For a hotel in this price range, I found many disappointing aspects. The location is inconvenient — there is nowhere to walk nearby, and reaching any café means going along a road that often has no sidewalk. Inside the hotel, there is not much to do apart from morning yoga and the occasional live music, so overall it feels rather quiet and uneventful. Access to the beach requires walking up and down every time, which can be tiring, and the beach itself is rocky and not very well maintained. The food choice is limited and not always of good quality. The biggest issue for me, however, was that even bottled water is not included. Not only is this unreasonable given the already high price, but guests are also not allowed to bring their own water to the pool and must buy it from the hotel bar. At night, when both the shop and the bar are closed, it becomes impossible to get water at all, which is unacceptable. On the positive side, the sea view is truly beautiful, and the hotel itself looks fairly new and well maintained. The bus stop right outside and nearby car rental options are convenient. The private beach has loungers, and I especially appreciated the free SUP boards available anytime. Overall, while there are some nice features, the number of shortcomings makes the hotel feel overpriced and not worth its cost.

Do you want your reservation cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice? I can’t tell you about the facilities of this hotel because I never got the chance to stay. What I can tell you is that they may cancel your booking at the very last minute, even while you’re already travelling. I booked this hotel well in advance, back in early August, for my girlfriend’s birthday on the 15th of September. Everything was confirmed and fully paid for weeks ahead of time. Then, less than 24 hours before check-in, the hotel cancelled my reservation without warning even though I had already paid in full. The reasons kept changing. First, I was told it was due to “unforeseen maintenance works.” Then I received another email saying it was because of “overbooking.” Either way, the hotel clearly prioritised other guests over an existing, paid booking. No apology, no explanation, nothing but a cancellation email. To make matters worse, I was told I would need to wait up to 14 days to receive my refund. That meant having to pay again for another hotel at the very last minute, while already travelling abroad. This not only ruined a holiday that was supposed to be special but also caused a lot of stress and unnecessary expenses. If the hotel had given me notice in advance, I could have booked elsewhere and avoided the disruption. But cancelling less than 24 hours before arrival, while I was already en route with a driver booked and activities arranged around the hotel’s location, is completely unacceptable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable sunrise views and romantic atmosphere — Ray Hotel Corfu is pure magic! Waking up to a breathtaking sea view — without even leaving the bed — is something we’ll remember forever. Watching the sunrise in complete peace and comfort felt like a scene from a dream. 🏨 The interior is modern, tasteful, and very cozy. 🍽️ The on-site restaurant is a highlight — delicious food, stunning panoramic views, and great options for vegetarians. 🏊‍♀️ The pool is fantastic, with a great chill-out playlist that sets the mood just right. 🌊 There’s a small but lovely seaside area with loungers — and even though it’s compact, there was plenty of space for everyone. Despite being close to the airport, the hotel is surprisingly quiet and peaceful — the occasional plane adds to the charm rather than being a disturbance. 💑 This place is perfect for couples looking to reconnect, unwind, and enjoy a truly romantic escape. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly, especially the woman at the pool bar. I forgot her name. She was very friendly to my son. For breakfast there are lots of options. A little less canned fruit and a bit more fresh fruit would've been nice, but that's my personal preference. You can take a bus for 2 euros to the airport, you just need to walk for the last 15 min, so there's no need to take expensive taxis.
