Charming, Friendly Hotel with Beautiful Views We had a lovely stay at Pelagia Bay Hotel in Crete. It’s a small-scale and cozy hotel with truly stunning views over the hills and the sea. The staff — from management to support — were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are basic but clean, and have a beautiful view. Breakfast was simple yet perfectly fine to start the day. We had dinner at the hotel twice — again, simple but good for one or two evenings. The pool area was clean and inviting, with plenty of sunbeds on the terrace. The nearby village has a nice selection of restaurants and tourist shops, perfect for a relaxing evening out. We highly recommend renting a car — Niki Cars is a great local option — to explore more of the beautiful surroundings.

Pelagia Bay Hotel Is run by dedicated staff who aspire to making each guest feel special and at home. I felt very comfortable in this hotel. The cleaners work very hard to ensure that your room is clean, with fresh towels and bedding every third day. This is a very good priced hotel for the location which is around 10 minutes to the nearest beach five minutes or less to the nearest supermarket. The owner there is lovely and will assist you in anyway you need. That is amazing views and you will see sunsets and sunrises that are beautiful and romantic. There is a good amount of food for guests. The barbecue night with traditional Greek dancing is lovely. It’s very nice to see. There are some nice trips around this area too eith stunning beaches. Being a vegan, the restaurant staff are amazing from the chef to the waiters and waitresses. They made sure I had all I needed. So very much appreciated. Thank you to all for making my holiday a lovely experience . Sandra

It's a nice and quiet place, located about 10–15 minutes from the beach. You’ll find everything you need for a hotel of this level. Rooms: We had a standard room. The room was clean, but I think it could use a bit of refreshing. Cleaning was done every morning. Our room had air conditioning. In the bathroom, there was only hand soap provided. There’s also a safe in the room, but we didn’t use it — it’s probably a paid option. The most inconvenient thing about the room was the lack of a proper double bed. Instead, there were two single beds placed next to each other, and they kept sliding apart, which made sleeping quite uncomfortable. Hotel: The hotel has a bar that works from morning until late at night. There’s a seating area next to the bar where it’s very pleasant to sit in the evening. There's also a small reading room with books in different languages (FR, DE, EN). The hotel has a pool for adults (it looks a bit smaller in real life than in the photos) and a pool for kids. We didn’t relax by the pool, but it seemed like there were enough sunbeds for everyone. Restaurant: Breakfast and dinner are included. The food was good — tasty and fairly varied. Staff: The staff at the hotel were very nice — polite, respectful, and always ready to help. I would especially like to mention the restaurant staff, who were always smiling, friendly, and also cooked delicious food. Guests: Keep in mind that this is not a place for party lovers. It’s a quiet hotel, mainly chosen by families and older guests. So, if you’re looking for a loud and lively atmosphere, this hotel may not be for you. Pros: Friendly staff Good food Pleasant atmosphere Clean rooms Cons: Uncomfortable bed setup P.S. There are several lovely cats living on the hotel grounds. They are calm and well-behaved, so they won’t disturb your rest — on the contrary, they’ll make it even more pleasant.

The hotel was brilliant in every aspect from check in to check out. The barman, Yannis, works hard all day every day and goes over and above for everyone. The hotel had a very strong community feel and everyone was very kind and would talk to eachother, each night everyone would sit in the garden space and be included in open conversation it was easy to get along with everyone. On Mondays there’s a bbq night followed by a party with traditional dancers which was brilliant and they included everyone who wanted to be included in the dances and celebrations! Brilliant hotel, brilliant atmosphere. The food was great, the bar was cheap, the rooms were massive and clean and there are no complains! 10/10 would recommend! Very good value for money!!
