My family and I recently stayed at Kos Divine Hotel for 7 nights. Overall, it was an okay experience — not amazing, but not terrible either. The location was perfect, the beach front was directly outside the hotel and the old town was less than a 15 minute walk. Staff were friendly, however most evenings the service was relatively slow; The staff are overwhelmed with having to cater for both the hotel restaurant and the hotels’ beachfront restaurant. That said, huge credit to the staff members who did go the extra mile. The lobby and common areas were clean and nicely decorated. However, the cleanliness of the rooms were not impressive. The bathrooms were not swept once during our stay and of course cleanliness is a basic expectation, and I hope they improve in that area. With a bit more attention to detail, this hotel could easily earn a higher rating. Loud noise from the cleaners in the morning woke us up most mornings. Soundproofing was basically nonexistent. Reception staff were unengaged and barely communicative. No warm welcome, no helpful suggestions — just a silent check-in and out. On a more positive note, the food was outstanding — every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. As fans of Greek cuisine, we were especially impressed by the authenticity and attention to detail. The restaurant truly deserves praise.

We had a lovely stay overall — the hotel was clean, peaceful, and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. We especially appreciated the calm atmosphere and the attention to detail in cleanliness and presentation. That said, there were two small issues we wanted to share, not as complaints, but as feedback that might help future guests. First, we were charged 10€ per day for air conditioning. This fee may have been mentioned somewhere during the booking process, but unfortunately, we missed it. A clearer notice about this extra charge would have helped us feel more informed in advance. Second, although the official check-out time was 12:00, someone knocked on our door around 11:50 — and even before we could respond, the door was unlocked and opened with a key. We were surprised by this, as we were still in the room, although packed and ready to leave. The person politely apologized and said it was for the next guests, and brought a plate of fruit. Still, it felt a bit intrusive. If they had waited just one more minute, we would have already been out. Of course, we understand how tight schedules can be in hospitality, but we believe that if 12:00 is stated as the check-out time, guests should be allowed to use that time fully without interruption. Aside from these two points, we genuinely enjoyed our time here. Thank you for the hospitality and for creating such a welcoming environment 🌿

We stayed in a suite at Kos Divine and were very satisfied with our experience. The suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable, exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel is in a great location, perfect for walking around and with easy access to key attractions. Breakfast was excellent, with a nice variety and fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel’s location is very good, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is sufficient. However, the one and biggest problem is cleanliness. Unfortunately, the rooms do not match the photos at all — you end up sleeping on yellowed sheets and drying yourself with stained, smelly towels. Unless you specifically ask, they are never replaced, and even the ‘clean’ ones aren’t truly clean. The hotel is very poor when it comes to cleanliness, and personally, I will not stay here again because of this.

Superb hotel. We booked it for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. The staff were lovely from the lads on the rooftop bar to the restaurant, cleaners and reception staff. We were B&B and the breakfasts were bang on, loads of choice. We will try a different Greek island next year but if we were coming back to Kos we’d stay here.
