Dimitra Hotel Naxos

Had a wonderful stay at Dimitra Hotel. Sweet family business. 3 best things about this hotel: lovely/helpful hosts, great location, and very homey property. The stay was really comfortable! They had new towels provided daily (including beach towels), readily available staff to offer direction on how to get to different areas in the island and recommendations on places to go. Within 5-10 minute walking distance, in the area are beaches, where you can lay a towel in the sand or pay restaurants for a sun bed (I’d recommend waking up early if you want a sun-bed, or reserving one from a local restaurant), supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and a bus stop about a 5 minute walk away from the hotel, down the main strip, that can take you to beaches like Plaka or to the old town (Chora). We did not travel with a rented vehicle and found the areas we wanted to go to easy go get to without one.

The hotel is a quiet oasis from the mad scene of Agios Prokopios. Everyone working here is so helpful and kind. The rooms are really comfortable and clean - and the breakfast is fabulous. We would definitely stay again if we were to come back to this area.

Had a wonderful experience! Hotel is extremely well maintained and ran by father and son. They are always there to attend to any of your needs. Location is perfect! Can walk to many restaurants, stores & the beach in minues... literally down the street. The beach area can get a bit hectic, but you would never be able to tell at the quiet, relaxing hotel pool. If you have a car, drive down to Planka Beach for a day. Beach is bigger and quiet, and there are some restaurants and lounge chairs too. It is just a 10-15 min drive. We didn't want to leave Hotel Dimitra!

One of the highlights of our trip to Greece, could not recommend this hotel enough. Very nice bed and breakfast style hotel run by a father and son located right next to a beautiful beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful for letting us know great local spots to check out and arranging drivers where necessary. The provided breakfast was very tasty I would definitely recommend getting that as well. It is very easy to get to and from Naxos port via bus, so do not let the location discourage you from booking here. A great hotel that really makes you feel like family when you stay here.

What an amazing place! From day 1 we got a very homey feeling. Thanassi and Dimitri, our hosts were incredibly gracious starting us off with welcome drinks of our choice and sitting down with us for more than 20 minutes explaining ins and outs of the island, restaurant recommendations, places to visit etc. They had the most impressive breakfast that is included, a staff that is ultra attentive and accommodating, and a place that is clean and close to the beach (3 min walk). If there were 10 stars, they would deserve it. We would highly recommend this family owned hotel and we would return here in a heartbeat.
