Casa di Veneto

Casa Di Veneto, was part of the “Frank” district of the upper class during the Venetian Rule (1211-1669 AD) in Crete. Three of the suites were inherited and the rest were bought with great effort and renovated with passion and respect for the region’s history. The restoration started in 2005 and was completed in the spring of 2009. The decoration and furnishing of the suites were made exclusively by the owners with selectively antique furniture, paintings, decorative designs and lighting from Avissinias square at Monastiraki in Athens and Mytiline too. Also, all of the carpets in the hotel are eastern handmade.

All of our suites are equipped with high quality, hypoallergenic mattresses and mattress toppers, premium high quality beddings, towels, bathrobes, slippers and mosquito nets, provided by COCO-MAT a Greek company that uses natural materials for its products. All the aforementioned linen and matresses are made by natural-ecological products in order to offer you your long desired rest during your holiday escape in Crete. Furthermore, in the suites you will find APIVITA’s all-natural beauty and health care products.

In addition, all of our suites include flat screen TVs with satellite channels, mini stereo sound system, ADSL internet access, mini bar fridge, air condition and whirlpool shower.

In the quiet and tasteful lobby you can relax, read your favorite book and enjoy the unique architecture of the place.

At the small but cozy café “Borgo”, located in the courtyard of the structure, you can enjoy your hearty homemade breakfast in the morning as well as your afternoon coffee or tea accompanied by a spoon sweet. Feel free to enjoy your preferred wine or a refreshing drink in a serene environment.
