Avra Apartments Venetian Harbour

We booked, what we thought, the room with the balcony. That is the one you see even when you get the booking confirmation. It's not obvious that the Ariadne appartment did NOT have a balcony, which makes it feel kind of claustrofobic. We managed to switch for two nights to the upper Pasiphea appartment. The one we THOUGHT we booked. The Pasiphea is huge and very comfortable. The extra costs are worth it, the Ariadne is a beautiful appartment, but we wouldn't have booked it, as it is expensive, and you don't get to enjoy the vibe of the lovely harbour area. The cleaning lady was amazing. So friendly, so going the extra mile, always with a smile. There is no reception, you have to call the AVRA hotel. We found personell to be helpful, but not all of them. Would I recommend it? Very much, but only the two rooms on the TOP FLOOR WITH THE BALCONY!

Super stay! Super central and next to our favorite restaurants. The place was tastefully designed and had pretty much everything you need. We stayed in the duplex and actually wanted to extend one more night cause of the amazing service. Strongly recommend especially if you’re a big group. Eventhough directly next to the bars, you cannot hear much of the crowd so I think the apartment has pretty solid inhalation.

Nicely situated apartments. Right next to the habour which are always abuzz with activities. Rooms are spacious and fully furnished. There are a couple of bars and restaurants just downstairs so no need to look too far for good vibes. The service was fantastic both from the hotel and apartment staff. Be sure to book well in advance! We got lucky coz there was a last minute cancellation. 1 minor issue would be that its difficult to get a late checkout, because its always booked out. Other than that, just perfect!

The key was left in an envelope in the lobby. We were expecting a front desk of some sort but this was literally an apartment building. We were quite pleased that the room was ready earlier than we anticipated. The room was incredibly nice and clean. The bed and couch were above average comfort. Waterfall showerhead was a joy! The proximity to all restaurants and the waterfront was perfect. Highly recommended.

If you want to see what luxurious means then that’s the place! Located in the center is of old harbor with amazing view! Can’t wait to be there again!
