Anais Collection Hotels & Suites Chania

Really enjoyed staying here! The hotel staff was friendly, gave a lot of good recommendations for excursions to explore the island nature and history. Nice sandy beaches nearby, 2 with blue flags, clear sea water. I’m glad to choose this location — it’s 15 min to Chania city, so you can go there whenever you want, and it’s a peaceful resort area in the suburb good for relaxation. Well equipped spacious room, cleaning every day. And local food is very delicious!

We first stayed at Anais Collection two years ago and were absolutely delighted. We had booked a basic maisonette, and it exceeded our expectations — classic Greek style, cozy and charming for the price. The pool was just steps away, and the beach was a short walk — everything felt idyllic. This year, we decided to return, expecting a similar experience. Unfortunately, choosing a standard room instead of the maisonette turned out to be a big mistake. The room was tiny, with a balcony facing the kitchen, which made it noisy and lacked any privacy. The sound insulation was practically nonexistent — the window was right next to the bed, so we were kept awake by both loud neighbors in the middle of the night and the relentless buzzing of millions of cicadas. Sleeping was almost impossible. The air conditioner and fridge had clearly seen better days — both were noisy enough to “sing along” with the cicadas. Even the plastic key card felt unpleasant to hold — small detail, but it added to the overall disappointment. To be fair, the pool and beach are still lovely, the room cleaning was consistent and well done, and the food at the on-site restaurant was delicious. But this experience reminded us just how much the type of room can influence your stay — even in the same hotel, your experience can be drastically different.

We had such a great stay at Anais Hotels, in the Suites building. Our suite was super spacious, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfy and the pillows were perfect. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or give tips about the area. The room was cleaned every day, which was a nice touch and made it feel fresh and relaxing to come back to. One of our favorite parts was the garden—it’s full of lush, tropical plants and flowers, and it felt like a little green oasis. Perfect for sitting outside with a coffee or just relaxing. There’s public parking right in front of the hotel, which was super convenient since we rented a car. There’s also a bus stop just steps away that takes you straight into Chania, and a really well-stocked supermarket just around the corner. Lovely beach nearby within walking distance. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot.

Great hotel and value for the price. Great pool with a shadow if needed as well. For kids and grownups. The rooms were good, no issues at all. The only thing is that the AC is only in the living room, so you have to keep the bedroom door open to get the AC flow in.

Great boutique style hotels, located near Chania city, next to a wonderful beach, Golden Beach, the water is amazing as well. Bus station is near, also there is a supermarket, you can find everything you need. The exotic plants and flowers, the marble all over the place, the large and cool apartments, the kind receptionists made us wanna return here every year. Ps they are pet friendly , they charge nothing for the pet, that is very rare to find. We are glad that we discovered this great place 😊
