Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food is varied and has different nationality dishes daily. I must give special praise to Enzo and Maxi who are the amazing entertainment duo they really do go out of their way to make everyone feel included and special. They are definitely the making of the hotel and deserve recognition.

We stayed at the Hippocrates in Kos for a week, hoping for a quiet, relaxing all-inclusive holiday. There were definitely positives - the front of the hotel is smart and welcoming, check-in was smooth, and the reception staff (particularly two Slovakian team members) were incredibly kind and helpful. The location is also good: it’s about a 40-minute walk from Kos town, but buses and taxis are easy to get, and there’s a lovely beach just a short walk away with amazing sunsets. That said, our overall experience was mixed. Our first room was very dated, with uncomfortable mattresses, thin towels, and a broken bathroom window that let in a lot of heat. We were moved to a better room the next day (thanks to a very understanding manager), which made things easier, but overall the rooms feel tired and in need of renovation. Towels were very worn, soap dispensers were empty, and linen wasn’t changed regularly. The cleaning staff were always friendly, but the cleaning itself felt sporadic – as if they weren’t given the time or clear instructions to keep things fresh. A few simple tweaks here could make a big difference to guests’ comfort. The food was plentiful and we never felt hungry, with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and unlimited drinks (including cocktails) available throughout the day. The salads were excellent and the desserts were great too. Unfortunately, the meat options didn’t feel of the same quality – they tasted cheap and budget compared to the fresh produce – and on three separate occasions I had an upset stomach after eating meat. The biggest disappointment was that the hotel had been advertised as adults-only, but it was full of children (especially around the pool), which made it hard to fully relax. I understand this may be down to third-party advertising, but it’s important for future guests to know it’s very much a family hotel. If you’re a family looking for an affordable all-inclusive with friendly staff, plenty of food, and a good location, this may work well. If you’re after a calm, adults-only stay with more attention to detail in rooms and food, it may not meet expectations.

Stayed for a week, all inclusive, food was ok, every day is a different food night, it’s all edible, caters for all the countries visiting, the staff cleaning up there are amazing, top marks to them all, very friendly and polite and ready and waiting to clean your table, top marks guys ! Rooms were nice and acceptable, cleaned daily and fresh towels, tv worked and the air con was freezing! It was amazing. Hotel staff are all friendly and helpful, always able to book you a taxi or answer your questions, there’s a late check out of €45 if you want to stay in your room till 6pm if you have a late flight, we tried a bit too late but our room had already been assigned , they showed us the shower and rooms where you can get changed anyway and we were happy with that, €20 for a safe pretty standard everywhere now Pools area cleaned throughout the day and hosed down every morning, always clean and looking amazing, all inclusive drinks are great, fizzy pop, ice cream, cocktails, non alcoholic ones too it’s all you’ll need and worth the money coming here all inclusive , NO SUNBED WARS! First place I stayed where’s there’s pretty much enough sunbeds for everyone , newcomers always come racing down at 6pm to reserve and realise after first day you don’t need to lol pools not open till 10 , although you turn up after 11 you’ll struggle to get a few chairs all together €10 a day tax when you get there as it’s a 4 star , so be warned we paid €70 at check in! Not the hotels fault but just remember to take extra money for that no real complaints The entertainment during the day is literally deafening and the microphone is too loud, screams down the mic that seems like an eternity during the games , giving me a headache personally but maybe that’s just me. But you can’t please everyone, maybe thats just me Overall a great place and I’d definitely go again , I’d just take some ear defenders lol Thank you

This is 3 star hotel at best, not a 4-star (at the moment) The hotel itself was average, but the management was very poor. I understand that every hotel can have some issues, but this one had far too many. There were no apologies to guests for problems like lack of water, electricity, and air conditioning. Even drinking water in bottles was only available at night if you paid for it — despite us being on an all-inclusive package. Each guest is allowed to book the à la carte restaurant once during their stay, but it was incredibly difficult. We asked four times before we finally got a booking. Rooms and bathrooms were not cleaned properly — the floors were dirty from the start of our stay until the end. Entertainment was good but never started on time. A special mention to Enzo — he’s the one who can truly brighten your day. Overall, we had a good time, thanks to the people we met, We can return to this hotel once they do small upgrades and much better management.

Ok budget break , all inclusive sunshine break. I guess you get what you pay for, it wasn’t fabulous but wasn’t awful either. The food had limited choices for vegetarians , the drinks at the bar are possibly alcohol free or very low alcohol ( a bit cheeky but understandable) You have to get a taxi to Kos town (€5 each way ) worth the trip. There is an excellent beach bar near by ( go there ) The room was ok but not cleaned much and the pool towels are disgraceful. However the staff were nice ! Oh and you need to buy water for your room ! I don’t understand why water is not just freely available?? Would have been nice to have snacks also provided as part of the deal.
