Σύντομη περιγραφή

A traditional building with long history, before the great earthquake of 1956, when it suffered several damages, which were later repaired. It was ownership of Marigoula and Yiannis Rompos, who was a well- known violinist of that time in Santorini. The owners were always hospital people and their friends and relatives often visited them, throughout the whole year, so as to enjoy their famous hospitality, while tasting exquisite delicacies (Amvrosia) and drinking divine wine (Nektar) that were offered in the large dining area of the house (Symposio). After the great festivity, they had some rest at the guest’s house, sleeping in the arms of Morpheus. In recent years, this great traditional house, was inherited by their granddaughter Yianna Ksigakis- Dalis, who feeling proud of the hospitality history of the house, named it to “Ikies Filoxenia” in honour of her ancestors. In our days, the house is transformed according to the contemporary needs of today’s traveler, who has the opportunity to be hosted in one of the four apartments of “Ikies Filoxenia”. The four apartments were named after the Greek mythology in combination with the modern history of the house.“Nektar”, as the drink of the Gods in Greek mythology. “Amvrosia”, as the food of the Gods in Greek mythology. “Symposio”, as a friendly meeting dedicated to thinking, drinking and eating in ancient Greece. “Morpheas”, as the God of sleep and dreams in Greek mythology.

We stayed at Ikies Santo Filoxenia with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time! The hostess was amazing, always willing to help us with anything we needed. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and we will definitely come back! We highly recommend this place — you can trust it with your eyes closed!

We loved our stay at Ikies Filoxenia. Our room was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was the icing on the cake - we had total privacy and peace and quiet. Joyce, our host, was absolutely incredible! She helped us so many times - driving us into town, helping us with our bags, booking taxis and reservations and giving great advice about where to go and where not to go. We loved talking to her, she was so funny and entertaining. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Santorini in the future. Thank you 1000 times! Sarah and Clareece.

First of all Ina is a gem. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Her recommendations for food, activities and sights were spot on. No request was a hassle. The property itself is great - spacious apartment with a comfortable bed, great bathroom and very nice hot tub. All located in a nice, local village with shops and good places to eat. Very good value for the money as well.

Absolutely beautiful modern apartments in a great location for getting around the island and close to shops and restaurants. Our host was incredible, showing us everything we needed to know about santorini, organising transport and giving the room a beautiful touch every day. She made it that extra special for us. A true greek goddess. We hope to be back in the future and would totally recommend to everyone we know.

The experience there was great. The main reason was the host. She literally organized everything - transfer from/to the airport, to the restaurant or suggested outdoor activities. She was very proactive - Got in touch directly after the booking. Superb!
