We came for our honeymoon and definitely loved our relaxing stay at White Concept Caves! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We especially loved one of the hotel receptionist, Yolanda. The room was spacious, clean, and stylish. The hotel is a 5 min walk from Fira’s main streets. If you land after midnight, make sure to give the hotel a call to have a driver pick you up from the airport. Overall, I highly recommend booking a stay here!

I think the hotel oversells themselves on their website. Hot tubs were not warm! Bathroom light kept going off whilst in the room. No restocking of the shower and toilet amenities. Websites mentions concierge service which did not exist. Also before you will need to carry your luggage yourself down into the venue.

Title: ⚠️ Beware – Dishonest Management, Unethical Practices, and No Respect for Guests ⚠️ Review: I rarely post negative reviews, but what happened during my stay at White Concept Caves, Santorini (July 2025) demands public warning for future guests. After checking out, I realised I had accidentally left a neck pillow containing several personal items — bikinis, bras, underwear, shorts — all valuable to me, especially after travelling internationally for over a year. These items were not just “forgotten clothes”; they were necessities, irreplaceable in my current travels. Despite my staying on the premises for hours after checkout, no staff member made any effort to alert me. Instead, my belongings were quietly taken into staff possession. In the hospitality industry, the legal and moral responsibility is simple: any lost property must be logged, secured, and returned to its rightful owner. Here, that duty was wilfully ignored. When I contacted reception, Christina, who initially appeared helpful, promised to personally bring my items to Athens. I trusted her word — that trust was misplaced. She stopped responding to my messages entirely. Repeated phone calls to the property were blocked by reception staff acting as gatekeepers. My Greek friend intervened to speak directly with the so-called “manager,” Giannis. Giannis confirmed they still had my belongings, promised to mail them immediately, and even assured us a tracking number would be provided. Weeks later — nothing. Multiple follow-ups were met with empty excuses: “I forgot,” “I’m busy,” “I’ll call you back.” None of these promises were honoured. This is not just poor service — it is a complete lack of professional ethics, personal integrity, and basic human decency. The conduct of management here reflects: • Dishonesty – Promising action with no intention of following through. • Breach of duty – Failing to return property that legally belongs to a guest. • Untrustworthiness – An environment where staff cannot be relied upon with personal belongings. As a paying guest, I deserved better than to have my possessions treated as if they were abandoned for staff to keep. This behaviour is indistinguishable from theft and is a disgrace to Santorini’s otherwise outstanding hospitality industry. For travellers considering Santorini: there are countless hotels in better locations, with better facilities (this property is far from main areas, has no windows, and the rooms feel airless) — and most importantly, hotels that will respect you and your belongings. Recommendation: Avoid White Concept Caves entirely. No holiday is worth dealing with dishonest staff, evasive management, and the distress of losing personal items due to a business’s refusal to do the right thing.
