Nysis Koufonisia

This is the most wonderful hotel. We loved everything about it. The rooms were gorgeous, extremely comfortable bed and very quiet. Maria the manager was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Breakfast was sublime- a basket of every breakfast favourite you could imagine. It is a short stroll into town which is one of the prettiest Greek villages we have seen. The beaches are also a short stroll. Sandy aqua waters. All Maria’s recommendations for dinner at the local restaurants were perfect. Can’t wait to return one day.

Our stay at Nysis was, without a doubt, the highlight of our time in Koufonisia. My family of 7 stayed across four beautiful rooms, each one impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. The attention to detail was evident everywhere. The breakfast was a daily joy: delicious, fresh, and served either by the pool or on our balcony, making every morning feel indulgent and peaceful. But what truly sets Nysis apart is the people. Marina and Rudy maintain the property with such care and dedication that everything feels pristine. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by the wonderful Maria (manager) and Maria (owner), who made us feel not like guests, but like extended family. And Chrystoforos, what a character! His warmth at both our arrival and departure gave us the most authentically Greek welcome and farewell we could have imagined. We left Nysis with full hearts and a deep sense of gratitude. Thank you all for making us feel truly at home. We’re already dreaming of coming back. With love from all of us 💙

My husband and I were able to find a room thanks to a cancellation and can't wait to come back again in the future! The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast and service was amazing. The views were great no matter which way you looked. The women who opened up this hotel have done a phenomenal job and thought of every little thing on how to best serve their guests and make sure they have a great experience--which we did!

My fiance and I had the pleasure of staying at Nysis Hotel and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our favourite was the morning breakfast that was delivered on our doorstep and the exceptional views of the water and surrounding landscape. We hope to be back soon!
