They say it’s a magical place—and they’re right. The last 20 minutes of the drive are winding and wild, but the destination is worth it. A jewel in the mountains, this eco-lodge is stunning: beautiful views, the kindest people, and food made fresh with foraged ingredients (truly 10/10). Our family cabin was cozy and quiet—no TV, just nature. You even get the spa to yourself for 90 minutes, which feels like your own private retreat. Everyone who works there to make this place as special as it is are incredible. And the property manager, Artemis gave us so many great suggestions of things to do. She was wonderful. I’m not outdoorsy, but nature lovers would be in heaven with all the trails and activities. For me, it was the fresh air, the peace, the food, and the cats—I fell in love. My only regret? Not foraging with Don. Next time.
