Corfu: Porto Timoni Hiking Experience & Sunset in Afionas

Our adventure begins at Agios Georgios Pagon Beach, one of the most beautiful bays in northern Corfu, where you'll learn the basics of navigation using a map and compass. Leaving the beach behind, we follow a scenic trail towards the legendary Porto Timoni. Along the way, breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea accompany us through a landscape of wildflowers.

Reaching the small chapel of Agios Stylianos, perched high above the twin bays, we take a short break to admire the scenery and learn about the history of the area. Next, we descend to Porto Timoni, one of Corfu's most beautiful beaches. Here, we enjoy a well-deserved break to swim, relax, and discover the unique landscape of Porto Timoni's twin bays.

After our swim, we begin the ascent to the picturesque village of Afionas, one of Corfu’s oldest settlements, perched high above the Ionian Sea. Before reaching the village, we stop at Louloudi, a natural viewpoint with sweeping views across the sea and the Diapontia Islands. This stunning spot is renowned for offering one of the most memorable sunsets on the island. Here, there will be time to unwind at a local snack bar, with the option to enjoy dinner or a refreshing drink while taking in the scenery.

Our experience concludes in Afionas itself, where we wander through its charming narrow lanes, admire the village’s traditional architecture, and hear fascinating stories about its history and local heritage from our tour leader.

At the end of the tour, our vehicle will transfer you back to the starting point free of charge, ensuring a comfortable return.
