Xenios Faros Apartments

Close to the beach. Good value for money. Looks recently restored. Our room (32) had sea view, a huge balcony (compared to Greek 'standards'). In fact the unit itself was really spacious. Possidi is the only place in Greece where I came for a second time. I can see myself booking Faros again.

Every time you go to Faros are listenings to a horrible sound generated by some bugs, day and night. Housekeeping is every 2 days, if they remember the schedule. They English understanding is moderate, at best. If you ask them to check on something their answers is always, everything is ok. All inclusive, foods, is from another hotel where it seems they cut corners on food. The water is great, but they are well below other country's that offer all inclusive services. Water alone can't compensate for bad services and mediocre food.

The location is great, really close to the beach, restaurants and a great bakery. There is a kitchen box, but it wasn’t very equipped. It wasn’t really clean, the floor had a lot of sand. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. There was no light in the room except for a night lamp. It was a great stay, but I recommend renewing of the pillows and installing lightbulbs regularly.

This summer it's been our first visit to Greece. After a very difficult year we wanted to have a very peaceful and quite vacation. We chose Faros apartments after another hotel canceled our booking. And it was fate! We loved every minute of stay there. We got an apartments with huge, bathed in flowers terrace, with a glimpse of sea afar. 3 minutes walk and Possidi beach. Breakfast and dinner were served at nearby Dophin hotel with the view on the sea. Greek cuisine is something! It's very tasty! Those who wanted to try something else could choose nearby beach restorants and cafes. Big plus was supermarket, that from a first glimpse seemed small, but in reality contained everything you wanted, from fruits and vegetables to exquisite souvenirs.

The lady at the reception was very polite and welcoming. Explained everything patiently and with a smile. The rooms are clean, fresh, with a lot of space, very comfortable. It’s very quiet and good for rest. And also there’s a lot of trees around so it’s not that hot in the room. It’s close to the beach and everything. There’s parking place, the Wi-Fi. The place feels safe even though it’s close to main streets. Very satisfied with our holiday here and I recommend it!
