Paraskevas Boutique Hotel

Great place to visit if you are looking for a quiet holiday. Amazing view, clean room with a very comfortable bed. The staff was really helpful and friendly as well!

The photos and description is misleading. This is not a spa as it is described on their web site. There is no elevator so it is very hard for people to climb stairs. This is very dissatisfying and disappointing! There is no parking for cars. And breakfast is a joke. We reserved the superior room. But this is a small room. Sea view is true. But that is all! Very disappointing!!!

We stayed here 3 nights and our experience was mixed. Whist the staff where kind, helpful and quite funny, the room (Room 112) he had left much to be desired for. Our fist and main problem was to do with the noise from the jacuzzi hot tub that was located right above our room. The noise this thing produces sounds like 20min of continuous thunder from about 2km away. It is impossible to sleep with that noise and were left without sleep because some inconsiderate guests had decided to turn the thing on from 2am until 4am in the morning. Having said that, it is the Hotel's fault for not having usage hours for the hot tub so that it does not disturb the people trying to sleep. The room itself was passable, but the size of the bathroom was an absolute joke. You could not turn around in the shower without spraying uo the entire place, including the toilet, which located about 10cm next to the uncurtained shower. The breakfast was OK, nothing special. The nicest thing about it was the freshly squeezed orange juce. That was excellent. The food was continously replenished by the hotel staff. One last thing: the cleaning lady works super hard, and that is respectable, but she needs to use some antiprespirant or deodorant because whereever she goes it smells like sweat and it's not pleasent for the guests. The hallways and the rooms have to smell nice, that is literally the second thing guests notice when they enter a place. One day she cleaned up our room and the entire room smelled like sweat for hours, it was disgusting.

The hotel rooms are VERY different from what is suggested by the pictures. Bathrooms are microscopic and old, while the rooms are much smaller than advertised, and do not even have a chair. There is no elevator, and the breakfast is just a miserable toast with a couple of marmalades and egg, very subpar.

A special place, we ended up here unexpectedly due to a huge storm. The receptionist was so kind, and pleased to accommodate us. Having no expectations of the place blew us away. Clean from the first steps, safe, quiet and with a beautiful breakfast on the terrace. If you end up in this town, stay here! Thank you for hosting us, 5 stars all around.
