Naxos Island Escape

Wow!! We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we booked, Marios was so helpful, kind, and thoughtful, going above and beyond. He organized our rental car (which picked us up from the airport), and countless other things. The location on Plaka Beach is wonderful. A short walk down the gravel driveway and you are across the street from a beautiful beach, especially at sunset. The beach wasn't overly crowded. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast with cook to order eggs, a fruit platter, freshly squeezed orange juice, and homemade pastries. Marios helped us plan our daily itinerary every morning, including recommendations to eat and things to see. He didn't miss!! What an island oasis. We stayed 6 nights, and we wished it was more. We highly recommend visiting Naxos and staying here. There are a few restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk, and the adorable Naxos town is a short drive away, with free parking lots.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at Naxos Island Escape as part of our honeymoon, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. This boutique hotel is a hidden gem. Its location is ideal—just a short 15 min drive from Chora (the main town) and walking distance to some of the island’s most beautiful beaches. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are modern, clean, and extremely comfortable. Lots of room for parking as well. What really made our stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the owner, Marios. He went above and beyond on multiple occasions to ensure everything was perfect. From offering great recommendations on local sights to personally helping us secure reservations at fantastic nearby restaurants, his warmth and attentiveness stood out. Breakfast each morning was another delight. Marios prepared a huge spread of items and all very delicious. We often skipped lunch because it was so filling. We’ll absolutely be returning. Out of all the places we stayed during our two-week honeymoon in Greece, this was hands-down our favourite.

Wow! Just, WOW! From the moment I booked to the moment we left, I have been amazed by the kindness & generosity of Marios and his beautiful wife, Eleftheria. Marios just went above & beyond, recommending restaurants, arranging taxis, and one morning we were surprised by our ATVs turning up at breakfast which he kindly arranged & saved us so much time! He has been so patient & knowledgeable; he even arranged an incredible cake for my partners 40th and was so kind to put up decorations in the bar & in our room as a surprise for Nick. The breakfast was so delicious, freshly cooked, the omelettes were perfect! The Greek yoghurt & pie & cake each morning with fresh juice was brilliant, perfectly light & kept us going! I can’t say enough good things, Marios cares so much about his guests, he is so friendly, so welcoming, so kind, sp fun, so warm, as is Eleftheria. It felt like staying with family, they work so hard and it is truly beautiful what they have built. The rooms are so cute and relaxing, I loved the decor, it was like living in little boutique caves, all unique and fresh, the masonry was amazing with how they have been put together, & so comfy! It was so hard saying goodbye, we can’t thank them enough for making our stay on Naxos so wonderful & so relaxing, and we hope to welcome them to the UK and extend the same hospitality in future. Anyone who wants to work in hospitality needs to come here & learn what it is to show care & give exceptional “customer service” because you’d learn a lot from Marios. The positivity filtered across some of the other lovely couples we were lucky to share the hotel with, and it was a lovely little community of friendly people, brought together by Marios. It is a perfect location, easy to walk up to the main stretch of restaurants, and the beach area at the end of road was perfect to visit, such a quiet, tranquil spot! If easy breezy friendly vibes are what you need, then this is where you need to come!

Really enjoyed our stay at Naxos Island Escape! It is a beautiful location and short 5 min walk to the beach. The beach is not too crowded and there seems to be room for everyone. The buildings and rooms were very nice. Breakfast is included and the portions are generous with a variety of items to eat. Marios and his staff member, I believe Maurice were very helpful and attentive. They made our stay a pleasure.

I had a fantastic stay at Island Escape Naxos! The rooms were lovely, and the location was perfect—peaceful yet just a short walk to beautiful beaches and great restaurants. The host, Marios, was absolutely great. He was always available to help and offered invaluable tips on where to go and what to eat. Having such local insight made our experience on Naxos even better. Highly recommend!
