Mediterranean Hotel Rhodes

From the beginning, we had a really good service. Everyone took care of us and our baby since minute 1. They gave us the room even if not yet the check in hour. The location is great and you can go walking to any place. View from the room was amazing. Waking up early and watch the sunrise was breathtaking. Breakfast had variety and was tasty. Rooms were spacious and getting cleaned every day. I give 4* in my review because we paid extra 3€ for a chocolate bar from the room's fridge that we didn't eat. It wasn't about the money, but that things shouldn't happen in a 5-stars hotel.

The staff is very attentive, the cleanliness is exemplary, the food is diverse and very good. the restaurant and everything related to the restaurant is impeccable. the pool is a little small for what I expected. the receptionists, waiters, waitresses, all very attentive to details and to the needs of the customers. This hotel deserves 6 stars instead of 5. I am pleasantly surprised. Congratulations Last edit: Upon departure, since our flight was at 8 am and we left the hotel at 5 am, we found bags with packed breakfast at the reception.

Very nice and clean hotel. I will admit that I find some of the other reviews harsh concerning this hotel. Being on a Greek island I don't expect a 5 star hotel to be like a 5 star hotel in Paris (that's why it only costs a fraction of the price). The lobby is spacious enough, the breakfast quite good, as is also the cleaning of the rooms. Furthermore, the service is very good and the people very polite and willing to help. Top location right on the beach and only a few metres from the city centre. There is a bit of an issue with seating for the morning breakfast depending on time, however, I have run in to this in other 5 star hotels also across Europe. All in all a pleasant experience. Recommended.

Unpolite stuff. We have asked for two single bed linen instead one double. They bring it when we wasn't in the room, and we found it thrown on the bed, and linen was not clean, but used! You have to wait table for breakfast, very small restaurant for number of guests in hotel. Rooms - nice rooms with sea view, but very small shower cabin, no place to hang towels. Location - beach is next to the hotel, but 15 minutes walk to the Old town of Rhodes. Need one or two more elevators. Not adults only. Deserves 3,5 star hotel.

As a frequent traveler, this is the first time I have ever left a negative review for a hotel. Here are the factual observations: • Check-in: room key cards and a brochure for partner excursions were handed over, with no explanation of the hotel’s facilities (meal times, available services, etc.). No welcome greeting. • Storage: only 3 small drawers and a limited hanging area, insufficient for a two-week stay. • Comfort: regular presence of gnats in the room despite air conditioning; AC emitting a sewage-like smell at times. • Cleanliness & issue handling: when requesting a sheet change, the sheets were simply flipped over to hide a stain instead of being replaced. A general notice at the entrance mentioned a laundry issue, but there was no direct communication in the room. When I went to reception for an explanation, the receptionist initially told me to “look at the notice” at the hotel entrance instead of providing an immediate answer. After insisting, she explained there was a laundry problem but no solution was offered, and no timeframe was given for when the sheets would be changed. • Breakfast: limited choice, products not fresh (e.g., wilted cucumbers, low-quality cold cuts), diluted chemical-tasting juice. • Service: 30 minutes to take an order, then 30 minutes to serve. Positive point: beachfront location. Conclusion: for the price paid and the service level provided, the experience does not meet the standards expected of a hotel advertised as 5 stars. A nearby 3 or 4-star property would likely offer a better stay for a lower price.
