We stayed at this hotel in July and overall had a positive experience, though we’ve deducted one star due to the dining options. ✨ Highlights The true standouts were the breathtaking views and the wonderful staff. Panoramas from both the room and pool rival—if not exceed those in Oia. The team was consistently friendly, engaging, and helpful throughout our stay. 🏠 Accommodation Our room was spacious and featured very comfortable beds along with a mini fridge. We had a private pool, though it was more of a plunge pool located on a shared balcony. Occasionally, we experienced some noise from other guests and noted that the shared layout meant others could see into our room. 🧘‍♂️ Facilities Everything was clean and well-maintained. The pool area was quiet during our visit, with sunbeds always available. Massages are offered through an external, in-room service, and sadly there is no gym on-site. 🍽️ Dining Experience We would not recommend booking full or part board, as meal choices were extremely limited. The dining room resembled a college cafeteria. While portions were generous, there were typically only 4–5 menu items, with 2–3 unavailable. Desserts were disappointing, and meal preparation was slow. The breakfast buffet was fresh but underwhelming—fried eggs appeared sunny side up but had solid yolks. 🚗 Location & Convenience The hotel is somewhat remote, perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. We strongly recommend hiring a car to explore local sites and enjoy dining elsewhere. On-site parking was easy, we found a space every day. ✅ Overall Impression All in all, it was a pleasant and memorable stay. We’d happily return—but next time, we’ll dine out.

We suffered both financial and emotional distress. We stayed at this hotel from May 8 to 11, 2025. On May 10, a very upsetting incident happened. While we were out for lunch, housekeeping entered the room. When we came back, I discovered that my expensive Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings were missing from the nightstand. At first, we thought they had been stolen and considered calling the police. Later we found them damaged near the door — apparently knocked off and swept during careless cleaning. A staff member assured us the hotel would cover the repair costs upon receiving the receipt. We trusted their word, didn’t involve the police, and submitted an official repair invoice from Tiffany. After that, the hotel simply ignored us and never compensated the damage. If you value honesty and safety, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. They make promises they don’t keep, and your belongings are not secure.

A lovely 8 day stay at this hotel. Small and quaint but well appointed. Great private villa pools and awesome sunsets at the bar / by the pool!

Hello, we would like to share our review of the Maison Des Lys hotel. From the very beginning we were impressed by the attitude of the staff. We had a free transfer. The driver was waiting for us without delay. The receptionists are very responsive. The rooms were cleaned every day, the maids are impeccable. Regarding the food - everything was amazing! Thank you to the chef (Bozhidar), who surprised us every day with his unique skills in the kitchen! We will definitely come back again!!!

Such an amazing place! Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing! Their staff and facilities are superb! Every space was well maintained and lovely. The staff was helpful and kind, arranging activities and transportation for us. They were friendly and engaging. Amazing trip! We will never stay anywhere else in Santorini!
