Kissamia Rooms - Next to Night Clubs

The host was nice. Extra small rooms and very humid. Didn’t expected to have a good view on our window but also didn’t expected to see the underwear of the people living there and a junkyard.

It's really affordable during the high season on Crete. The host Chrisa was extremely helpful and friendly, she let me check in a lot earlier than the usual 2PM. The room was clean and looked exactly like on the photos. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean, although a little worn out. I've got the double room with balcony as I didn't really liked the idea of the basement room with no windows. The bad side of this accommodation were the thin interior doors which made you hear everything the other tenants were doing in the hallway, most unpleasantly around 4 in the morning. But 8 guess it's a small price to pay for this affordable housing, and if you're not too picky about the room. It was cleaned daily and sheets and towels changed every 3 days. It was close to some great restaurants and the beach so you can go for an evening swim in the warm Greek sea around 8PM.

-Safety was compromised when the power went out at night, and we had no air conditioning. We had to leave the room to ensure our safety by activating the electrical panel, risking a potential shock. Although we reported this issue, there was no response or assistance from the host. -There was an unexpected electricity outage lasting 2-3 hours in the entire area. We later found out that it was scheduled for maintenance on the electrical network. Unfortunately, we were not informed about this in advance. -The bed linens had stains and bugs, which led to an uncomfortable night's sleep. We ended up losing valuable sleep due to the discomfort caused by these issues. Overall, it was a very poor experience, and I would not recommend it to anyone. If someone is looking for a budget option and is willing to compromise on quality for a short 1-2 night stay, then it might be okay. However, for anything more, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Incredibly loud noise from the surrounding bars until the morning hours. Permanent smell of moist.. Aircodition filter has never been changed and had an asthma reaction for the first time. Poor bathroom.. I do not recommend staying here.

What a great stay! A fantastic owner, very helpful and caring. Room is one step close to the sea. So many restaurants near and free parking place. Room was clean and tidy. Bed sheets and towels were changed frequently. The staff was friendly. No cons. Thank you!
