Kavos Plaza Hotel

Me and my bestfriend had the best time staying here! The staff are beyond lovely, some made a real effort to speak to us, ensure we had a smooth stay. Once I lost my camera at the hotel, had remembered where I put it, and staff were super helpful trying to look for it - even though it was in the exact place I left it. The room we had was spacious and the air con at no extra price was literally freezing, I was almost shivering some nights so that’s how you know it did the job! View beautiful, included breakfast was amazing every time thank you to the chef, the balcony was lovely, the entire place was cleaned almost everyday by lovely and polite workers. I wouldn’t have picked anywhere else to stay, only thing I would say is the shower was tiny and with a glass door on your left and a tiny space to step out when the toilet is right there it was quite funny 😅 but that wasn’t a problem really at all. The hotel itself outside was quite quiet lots of the times and others really busy, it just depended. The pool does close slightly early at 7 but it wasn’t an issue for us. Thank you for the lovely stay and maybe we’ll be back😚

the location didn’t match google maps but if was much better than expected! lots of places around, very close to shops beaches and restaurants. wifi didn’t work, it is free but it never loaded anything, staff are very friendly and helpful, gorgeous pool and breakfast! cleaners provide clean towels daily and make your beds which is perfect!

Beautiful, cozy, secluded hotel, far from noisy bars, but still close to everything. Friendly staff, very good breakfast,clean rooms, no lack of water in the high peak of the season. We will deffinately go again 🇬🇷💜🌍

Booked with two friends for a party holiday. Kavos is definitely a party zone. Wouldn’t really recommend for families and family holidays. We really enjoyed our stay here. We were barely in the hotel but it was still good. Some of the staff were a bit funny at times, but they were still all nice enough. We met a lovely man here Ben one of the men who worked at the hotel bar in the morning/day. He was very chatty and friendly and we got on really well with him. He is one of the nicest people that we met in Greece. I can’t remember the name of the other staff member. He was a little funny compared to the others. We felt sometimes he was a little weird with us but maybe it was just us. You can play your own music at the pool so bring a speaker if you wish - but keep it low enough or he will say to you about it. It is mentioned that you cannot bring your own food or water purchased outside of the hotel to the pool area or you will be fined. The hotel room, was okay. Little dirty maybe, it didn’t bother us because we were barely there, but the cleaners came everyday and even when the beds were dirty they were not cleaned. We were told every three days. Pretty sure we waited five before the beds were changed - I know this because I got a little bit of chocolate on my sheets and it stayed there for some time. The back of the beds where the headboards were, were absolutely full of dust where they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. One of the worst things was that on the first day when looking at the room, we found hair from someone who had stayed previously in one of the drawers in the dressing table… which shocked us. We didn’t open this drawer the rest of the trip. The shower was absolutely freezing, which you would think would be appreciated in 43° heat - but it wasn’t. The entire holiday I had to stand outside the shower and hold my head under the water to wash my hair because it was that cold you couldn’t handle it. The beds were rock solid and you were provided with one pillow… which didn’t do my back a world of good. When asking for an extra pillow we were told no by the cleaners. The best thing about the room was the balcony. The pool in the hotel was fantastic. Absolutely massive, cleaned everyday - we seen the man coming to give it a good clean every night whilst getting ready to go out on the balcony. The food in the hotel was okay - I am a picky eater so I can’t really comment on it but my two friends seemed to enjoy it. We enjoyed our stay here. I would say compared to other hotels I have seen in Kavos this one is one of the better ones. It’s far enough from the strip that it’s not too noisy at night: this means when coming home you can get some sleep, even if it is that you are coming home at 6am… Another thing we noticed was that the doors in the hotel room really seemed to keep out the sound. I slept really well the entire time we were there. There was no one really playing loud music whilst we were there at early hours. I would recommend this hotel, no it was not the nicest of hotels, but it was good enough for a party holiday, not much you can expect from places like these. We had a fantastic time and we would definitely come back to this hotel if we came to Kavos again.
