12.07.2025Phenomenal hotel with incredible amenities and views over North Cretan coastline. The hotel aims to capture and preserve the beauty of an old olive grove and olive press, as well as the community that once maintained it. Dinners were also fantastic at their restaurant. Highly recommend this as a stay!

21.07.2025This is truly a magical place. You can tell this was a passion project for the owner where every detail was considered. You can feel the essence of living in an old Greek village. It is definitely a paradise if you are looking for a place that is relaxing and tranquil. We enjoyed olive oil martinis by the pool. It’s an easy 20-30 minute drive to Rethymno which was easily our favorite city in Greece with its beaches and charming shopping district. The breakfast buffet (which was included in the nightly rate) was EXCELLENT (fresh Greek pastries, hot options, fresh fruit, coffee bar, and fresh squeezed orange juice)! Every staff member made us feel welcomed and cared for. Trust me just book it and thank me later.

20.06.2025As others have said, a really wonderful hotel and holiday, simple & sophisticated with a lovely sense of spaciousness and peace. We loved the planting and landscaping, the pool, the breakfast and the homemade lemonade. We had such a special holiday we hope to return. Totally recommend!

27.06.2025We stayed two nights in the hotel. Amazing garden, very good food, very calm, very friendly staff, so all very good on that side. However, the rooms themselves are decent, but they don’t justify the high prices per night. Shower, bed, etc. are just modest. Most materials and furniture used in the rooms look relatively cheap and are not of a very good quality. So all together: very good experience, but strongly over priced

28.07.2025We had the most beautiful stay in Kapsaliana to end our trip around crete in a calm, aesthetic and wonderful environment. I especially want to thank the lovely staff that was so welcoming and charming. I also had a great morning yoga session. What a gem!
