The design of the hotel is based on an alternative creation with the main goal of living close to nature. Kandania Paradise is oriented in such a way to ensure as much free areas of green. This also allows significant distances among buildings, making the unstructured space outweigh the structured one, all for our guests' privacy.

The all-year hotel's restaurant, Mourelato Italian Restaurant, offers Breakfast and Italian cuisine of excellent quality all-day. With panoramic views over the plain of Cretan Mountains, relax by the fireplace on cold days and nights.

Just a short drive away, you’ll find the Samaria Gorge, one of Europe’s most famous hiking destinations and for coastline lovers, the pink-sand beaches of Elafonissi is within easy reach. The Kandanos Village itself is a symbol of resilience, having been rebuilt after its destruction during World War II. History buffs can explore its small museums and memorials, gaining insight into Crete’s role in modern history.

The rotating dividers on the ground floors separate or unify the ground floor outdoor space in front of each Shared Pool.

    Kandania Paradise is a true and unique Paradise! The owner, his family, and the entire staff are truly passionate about providing an exceptional experience for their guests. Their warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed. Each morning, after enjoying a delicious and healthy breakfast, we would return to find our room perfectly cleaned, nicely scented and fresh towels . The attention to detail was remarkable. The property offers a unique sense of privacy—so much so that it often felt like we had the entire pool area to ourselves. With five pools and multiple buildings, each housing just four rooms, the layout is ideal for couples seeking a peaceful and intimate getaway. The property also offers a very good Italian restaurant! The location is absolutely stunning—nestled in the mountains and surrounded by beautiful peaks. It’s just a short drive from the lively town of Kandanos, and about 30 minutes from the coastal gem of Palaiochora. The hotel is also conveniently located for exploring some of Crete’s top attractions.

    Our stay at Kanadia Paradise was amazing. If you want to spend time in the mountains, away from people, with breathtaking mountain views and even more beautiful sunsets, I highly recommend it. Everything was perfect. The owners are very kind, they put their heart into this place, and I wish them all the best with their growing business. The entire hotel is new. Everything was spotless. Flawless. If I ever return to Crete, I will definitely stay here again, because it was truly something special. I will gladly cherish the memories of the time spent here for a long time. The breakfast was excellent as well. We also had dinner at the restaurant connected to the accommodation, and we can only recommend it, everything was delicious.

    We had recommended Kandania Paradise to our friends, who booked a suite (as described on the hotel’s own website). When we went to visit them, the owner demanded that we leave immediately, insisting that no visitors are ever allowed in the rooms. While hotels in Greece may restrict visitors in standard rooms, the law (EOT regulation 503007/1976, ratified in Law 1652/1986) clearly allows visitors in suites. What was most disappointing, however, was the rude and unprofessional behavior of the owner towards both us and the paying guests. Having recommended this place ourselves, it was embarrassing to witness such treatment. Hospitality is not just about rules, but about how those rules are communicated — and unfortunately, this interaction lacked the courtesy and respect one expects when visiting Crete.

    The hotel has a perfect location – in the middle of nature, quiet, but close to everything you need. The staff was extremely kind and willing to help with everything. The private pools are a huge +! They give a sense of luxury and absolute relaxation, ideal for enjoying your stay in peace and quiet without people around you. If you want a beautiful, quiet and luxury hotel to escape from everyday life, then this is the place. We will definitely go back!

    **Kandania Paradise** is a small paradise with comfortable, clean rooms and a wonderful view of the White Mountains. The comforts of the room, such as the comfortable bed and modern amenities, ensure a comfortable stay. The **Italian restaurant Morelato** offers excellent dishes with fresh ingredients and authentic taste, from pasta to desserts. What stands out, however, is the hospitality of the owners, who made us feel at home from the first moment. Their personal care and their passion is what makes Kandania Paradise unique.
