Good overall experience for the price Overall, the hotel offers good value for money, with clear positives and a few areas for improvement. Pros: • Staff: The team is excellent — from reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone is friendly and extremely helpful. • Cleanliness: Rooms are clean and tidy. • Food: Varied and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. • Pool: Clean and spacious. It’s quite deep, which makes it a bit tricky to play with kids, but it’s still a nice facility. • Entertainment: The entertainment team is fun and friendly, adding a lively atmosphere. Cons: • Cats: There are many cats around the hotel, some sleeping on the sofas. This might be an issue for guests with allergies or phobias. . Bathrooms could need renovation , but that’s expected given the price range. Conclusion: A suitable choice if you’re planning to spend your mornings by the pool and your afternoons exploring the city or nearby mountains. Thanks for Popi, Ibrahim!

My family and I, visited Gouves Bay Hotel, for 5 nights. I’m always as objective and understanding as possible when I write reviews, as I want people to be aware, as I would like to read honest reviews. Starting from the positives, the staff was amazing. Friendly, helpful and always smiling and approachable. Huge thanks to the team for keeping a positive and great vibe. Also, the food was great, loads of variety daily, and although a few dishes could have been better, we believe as an overall, the food was as expected. Firstly, we believe that this is not a 4-star hotel, we consider it to be somewhere between 2 and 3 stars. The photos from the hotel’s website, booking and on the social media platforms are misleading. The rooms are old and not in a great condition. They weren’t properly cleaned before our arrival and we found a live cockroach in one of the closets. A major issue was the electricity. During our stay, the electricity went out in all 3 of the hotel’s buildings 5 times (2 of which was more than 45 minutes). There is no beach with space for sunbeds and umbrellas in front of the hotel as described on their website, just rocks that lead to the water. Although we love cats, unfortunately there are a lot of them which enter the hotel freely and we caught one taking a number 2 inside one of the indoor plants right next to the restaurant. As an overall experience, it was a nice holiday - was expecting the hotel as an overall to be of higher par, since it is considered a 4 star hotel. If it was a 3 star hotel, I would have rated it with 3/5, if it was a 2 star hotel, I would have rated it 4/5. Thanks once again to the amazing staff who worked as the face of the hotel and the staff in the kitchen for the great food!

Fantastic staff. Stavros behind the bar is a legend. ⭐️ Carlos is so friendly and happy to accept music requests. The food is great for an all inclusive. The rooms are a good size and cleaned every day. The beach is 5 minute walk - along with shops, bars and restaurants. If eating out I recommend Mylos Taverna which has an excellent menu and the food is amazing.

I typically don't prefer all-inclusive hotels, but my stay here has been a surprisingly delightful experience. The staff have been exceptional, especially in interacting with my 3-year-old. The restaurant manager consistently took the time to greet us and even played with my child, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The rooms were immaculate, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. On our first day, we encountered an ant problem, but the hotel staff addressed it quickly and effectively, ensuring our stay remained pleasant. Initially, we found ourselves dining out because the menu lacked variety, but after sharing our feedback with the receptionist, we were pleased to see the menu change promptly. The culinary offerings ranged from fish to tender lamb, succulent rabbit, and flavorful duck. The food was delicious, though I would suggest adding some MSG to enhance the flavours even further. The bar staff were outstanding, consistently serving drinks without any delay, which really added to the overall enjoyment of our vacation. If I had to say something bad it'd only be that our room was next to the bin store which was loud early in the morning

When we first arrived at the hotel on the road, we did struggle to find the reception but we found it in the end. As soon as we got there, the staff member on the desk was ever so lovely & helpful & helped us to our room with our cases & showed us everything. The view we had wasn't great, but that isn't the hotels fault, that was easyjet for changing my room & without reason still but some of the sea & mountains made up for that. Staff there were absolutely amazing, bar staff, restaurant staff (one gent in particular) was the best I've experienced in a long time! Pool bar staff was lovely & house keeping staff were ever so good & lovely as well & always saying hello! & please give my compliments to the chef/s ... food was stunning. Downside/s .... the fridge in the room needed repairing, shelves inside & on the door was broken, things kept falling out. The pool area itself although lovely atmosphere, was very small & we couldn't get a lounger as everyone left their stuff out all the time & never any available. Other then that, the staff everywhere made this place great! Would come back for the staff, entertainment & the food!
