Pros: -Location is quite central and lots of options for food and drink nearby. There’s a cafe/bar right next door and great restaurants just across the street. -The rooms are pretty and clean. -The staff are friendly and eager to provide information on how to get around Athens and the best spots to eat. Cons: -The area is incredibly noisy, especially at nighttime. People drink and party at the nearby bars and restaurants until about 2:30 am. Not ideal for light sleepers. -There is no one at the front desk after 10 pm until about 8/9am. -On my first night there, the power went out in my room (at about 11pm/12 am). Since no one was at the front desk, I could not ask for assistance at that time. I reported the incident the next morning. They sent a repair man to check it out and fix it, but the power went out again as soon as I plugged my phone in to charge. I was told that I could not plug anything into my room until they figured out what was going on. The only way I could charge my phone was to sit at the front desk after 10 pm, which I did on the second night. -On the third night, I went to charge my phone at the front desk again. I accidentally locked the only key card I was given in my room. Again, because no one is at the front desk after 10pm, there was no one around to assist. Luckily, I got the hotel manager on the phone. At first, he sent me to the basement to see if there were any other key cards available for my room. When I discovered there were none, he came (he was 20/25 minutes away). He made me try one of the other outlets in the room, and it worked, so at least I was able to charge my phone in my room for the remaining nights. I would not go back; it was just too much of a hassle given the issues with the electricity and the lack of staff overnight. Also, I just felt the staff did not take the issues regarding the electricity seriously. I was not compensated in any way for the inconvenience of the stay.

Location, location, location! In the middle of the town, surrounding by hundreds of amazing restaurants, bars and others. Less than 5 mins walk to the main Metro station, Psiri square and markets. Ok. It's not 5 star, so I'm not complaining 😄 the room is a little tiny, specially the shower, but very clean. Also, noise from the restaurants could annoy some people, but not us.

We booked this hotel because of its location, but it is not a place to stay if you want a proper night of sleep and rest. We got the loft room, which is located at the entrance of the hotel. It was extremely noisy. We could hear all the conversations of the receptionist with the guests and people slamming the entrance door. The room was also very hot as the air conditioning only worked on the second level. The stairs to the second level are not very safe, so you must be very careful in your way up or down. Amenities like hair dryer and iron are missing, so you must request them if you need them. The cleanliness was also bad as we saw spider webs in the corners, and the floor was dusty. The mattress of the bed was also very hard it felt like sleeping on the floor. Overall, I believe that for the price they charge, there are many other options to stay in Athens.
