Zagori Sightseeing Full Day Tour

We visit the famous Zagori area, a cluster of 46 stone villages, where the local stone has been transformed into magnificent buildings and streets. Built between sharp slopes and mountains and in deep gorges of the rivers that surround them, everything becomes one harmoniously.

We start our tour from the valley of western Zagori, passing Aristi and stopping at the Voidomatis river, one of the cleanest rivers in all of Europe, where we can dive in the cold water and then we visit the Ovires of Rogovo, natural pools in a strait gorge and then the village of Mikro Papigo.

We return to cross a 1,090 m pass to reach the center of Zagori to have all to ourselves the magnificent view of the famous Vikos gorge. There we will have a small seasonal snack and continue visiting Dilofo. We come across some of the more than a hundred stone bridges that survive. The itinerary is open to suggestions, as we can visit Monodendri, the villages of Kapesovo and Vradeto or admire the Vikos gorge from Beloi
