Soak in the local vibes as you explore some of the most picturesque neighborhoods of Athens, like Plaka and Anafiotika. Your guide will help you to navigate the winding streets and grand avenues of Athens with an insightful map, locate the best boutique shops for souvenirs, and of course, get a ‘Greek Language Survival Guide’ crash course. By the end of the tour, you’ll be greeting people and ordering in a taverna like a true local!


Explore Plaka (the oldest neighborhood of Athens), Anafiotika (the ’island without a sea’), Dionysiou Areopagitou Street and Thiseio. The tour will end at a local restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious Greek meal while enjoying the local vibes.

  • This tour normally ends with a table reservation at a local tavern. Your guide helps you order and then leaves, to let you enjoy your dinner. If you wish to make your own dinner arrangements, we can skip this.
  • Alternatively, the guide can stay with you during the meal. The extra cost is 50 EUR for that extra hour, plus the cost of the guide's meal.
