Sunny Suites Apartments

This is a real gem of a location, family run and have stayed here on two occasions now. Staff are lovely it’s very relaxed. Great pool and bar. Quiet but with all the bustle of the neighbouring town just down the road if you want it. Beach is a short walk away. Rooms are continually cleaned.

Absolutely fantastic place, the service from the maids is 10/10 and the guys at the pool side bar George, Pedro and Manos are the best guys ever and make the most amazing pizza's and big Manos the owner is such a great down to earth guys, he owns a few businesses but when he comes to sunny suites he makes the time and effort to to speak to you and make you feel like you are part of the family, definitely going back as the Cretan people are like no other humans on this earth. 100% recommend sunny suites to anyone i wouldn't even hesitate.

Has a simplistic charm. Great service. Friendly staff. Hasn’t changed in over 20 years. Still the same great place. Will go back again and again and again.

One of our party snapped the key off in the lock on the first day and it was fixed within minutes despite it being almost one in the morning. The hospitality here is outstanding. Quiet rooms with a balcony view of the sea. Cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels. Spacious inside. Access to the pool. They also offer car rental and reasonable prices. Cannot praise enough.

We stayed at the Sunny Suites hotel for 2 weeks and found the Hotel to be perfect for our needs. The staff were warm and welcoming and the rooms were cleaned every day, although the rooms are quite compact they come fully equipped with cooking facilities and utensils and in addition to this we had an iron and hairdryer supplied in the room. The facilities at the hotel are limited to the pool bar but this is perfect for snacks a refreshment. The pool area is kept very clean and organised and there is enough space for all the guests, there was space for us every day at the pool and there was none of the silly behaviour where people save the sun loungers and go out all day. Chania old town is a 20 min bus ride which cost us 7.5 Euro each way for a family of 4, our youngest was free being only 4. There is not a large selection of bars in the immediate vicinity but we did find lots within a 10 min walk of the hotel.
