Finikes Studios Thassos

There is no one permanently present at the reception — in fact, there is no actual reception area. When we contacted the hotel owner, Ms. Vaso, via WhatsApp, she came and handed us our room key. The hotel is in a good location, but for those arriving by car, a small vehicle is more suitable. The narrow streets with sharp turns, shaped by traditional Greek architecture, require a bit of driving skill. Parking is available and there’s enough space for guests with cars. There is also a small pool at the hotel, which could be a lifesaver in certain situations. However, if you happen to stay at the same time as a large and loud group, staying in a room facing the pool can be noisy. While there were no issues with the internet on some days, at other times — possibly when too many people were connected — it kept disconnecting and became unusable. Cleaning was done daily, and towels were changed every two days. There is a safe in the room, and we strongly recommend using it. We did not experience any problems ourselves, but my brother, who was staying in the room next to ours, unfortunately had his wife’s wedding ring and diamond ring go missing from the nightstand during the day. Because of this, unfortunately, we cannot say we had an experience we would recommend.

Our stay in Finikes studios was great. The villa is with perfect location 400m from the centre, near to the old harbour and the new one. The villa is located in very peacefully street, it’s very quiet during the day and night. Very clean rooms, very nice staff. The women that welcomed us is very nice, she explained us everything about the town- where we can go to eat, which are the good beaches, shared some info that she knows about prices, etc. Finikes also has tavern and it is full every night. You must keep in mind that the streets in Limenas are very tight and it is difficult to drive there with a big car but not impossible. We are impressed by the town and will visit it again. Highly recommend Finikes and will stay there again for sure.

The hosts are very kind and hospitable. The rooms are clean and very nice, they have everything you need. We would love to come back here and recommend wholeheartedly! Thanks!

Really a great place to stay. It's very clean and it's quiet because it's not on the main road. A few minutes away from the main road with shops and restaurants. The owner is super kind and helpful and the pool is greeat if you just want to relax and take a quick swim. And has private parking

Great stay, super clean and the host is extremely accomodating. I highly recommend the place for a stay in Thasos. Cons: the sound insulation is pretty bad.
