Eco Beach & Magic Garden Hotel

I love this place! It is exactly what I was looking for: a quiet, small resort with a private beach just in front of our accommodation. This resort has about 15 rooms, an apartment, and a villa. All the rooms have a sea view, except for the ones in the basement, which can enjoy a cozy outdoor area. The room is spacious and clean, with air conditioning and a fridge. The highlight is the breakfast/lunch area. It’s outdoor with a sea view under the shade of trees—scenic indeed. I appreciated the staff as well; they are professional, considerate, and always smiling. I am vegan, and they accommodate my needs perfectly. The food is good as well. The resort is close to Gennadi town, just a 10-minute walk away, where you can find excellent restaurants. The only area for improvement would be to upgrade the gym, as it is not functioning, even for very basic training. Other than that, everything else is great. Thanks for hosting us, and I would definitely consider spending my holidays here again on a future trip to Rhodes.

Spent a night here while exploring Rhodes; such a beautiful hotel – quiet, clean, and featuring stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The owners are incredibly welcoming, as is the staff. Air conditioned rooms with a balcony overlook the property and beach, with an open-air restaurant/bar area where breakfast is served. The beach features pairs of lounge chairs and umbrellas, with service from the bar to order drinks. Feels like you can be fully immersed in nature while enjoying the comforts of a hotel! A close drive to Lindos and many other areas on Rhodes for a day trip. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Gennadi area!

We received what the hotel complex promised in its description of services. Not far from Gennadi, on a picturesque and unattached beach is the hotel, the bar and all the services settled. Quiet, unique place with ecological and environmental friendly concepts. Lovely, friendly owners, great staff. Good English is spoken. Crystal clear water.

I had a truly relaxing holiday and would gladly return! The atmosphere was peaceful, with no intrusive music, and the staff were friendly and never overbearing. The sea was clean and inviting, and breakfast featured fresh, tasty ingredients. However, some improvements would go a long way: the food, though good quality, lacked variety, daily repetition of the same vegetables (mostly green pepper, cucumber, tomato) and just melon or pineapple got a bit monotonous. The shower setup was impractical, no door, poor drainage, and nowhere to place shampoo. Insects occasionally appeared from gaps that could be sealed, and the room could use better sound insulation. Also, many sunbeds were torn or broken, and the gazebos no longer offered real shade. Still, the overall calm and kindness of the staff made it a pleasant stay.

Excellent accommodation on the beautiful and serene beach of Gennadi, in southern Rhodes! The rooms are just as shown in the photos. (Tip: Deluxe double rooms on the first floor are only a few steps above ground level and offer a partial sea view through the tree trunks in the distance. If a sea view is important to you and you’re comfortable with a short climb (about 1.5 flights of stairs), ask for a deluxe double room on the top floor—or, depending on your group size and budget, go for the beachfront villa, located right on the sand!) The buffet breakfast is of excellent quality, with several tasty à la carte options included in the price (e.g., scrambled eggs in both classic and Greek style, omelets, smoked salmon sandwiches, etc.). The location is ideal for a relaxing, carefree holiday on one of the island’s best beaches (sandy on top, pebbled at the shore and sandy again a few meters in). Hotel guests can use the sunbeds on the beach free of charge. The beach section feels almost private, as the next hotel (Gennadi Grand Resort) is quite a distance to the right, and non-hotel visitors tend to stay further to the left. A rental car is highly recommended (there’s free parking on site) for airport transfers, dinner outings to the nearby village, and a bit of sightseeing. If this is your first time on the island, consider extending your stay to explore some must-see attractions—such as the old town and medieval castle of Rhodes, the Acropolis of Lindos, or the sunset from Kritinia Castle, to name just a few. If you’ve already visited these sights, simply sit back, relax, and recharge at this sweet spot—enjoying the sun and sea on the hotel’s own beach!
