Vision Omonia

Our experience at this hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the service provided by the staff was very good, with a special shout-out to the attentive and friendly rooftop team. The rooftop area itself is simply stunning and exceeded our expectations. Enjoying a refreshing beer and good food by the swimming pool with panoramic views of both the Acropolis and Mount Lycabettus was an unforgettable experience and a major highlight of our trip. Our room was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of comfort, and the bathroom was particularly impressive, so much so that it's given us inspiration for our own home renovation! We also really appreciated the hotel's location – it's not directly in the bustling center of the tourist areas, which allowed for a more peaceful and authentic feel to our stay. If there were any minor points for improvement, the breakfast area could feel a bit crowded during peak times due to its smaller size, and while the breakfast quality was generally very good, the options were somewhat limited. Our main frustration, however, was with the hotel's app-based room key system. While the idea of a web app to unlock the room and main entrance seemed cool initially, the app was often very slow and unresponsive. We ended up using the door code provided in the app instead, but even that could be temperamental, sometimes not registering touches or double-registering inputs on the touch panel. A traditional key card might have offered a smoother experience in this regard. Despite these minor inconveniences, we had a fantastic stay and would recommend Vision Omonia for its amazing rooftop, great staff, and beautiful rooms.

Me and some friends recently stayed at the Vision Omonia hotel. Omonia is not the best part of town and even though we never felt unsafe it should be considered. We were out at all hours without any issues. Check-in was smooth and the reception is open 24/7. Breakfast is served 7-11. The options were limited and so was the seating. When it was full we felt like it was our own problem to fix. The juice and coffee machine had lots of issues. The rooms are modern and spacious. One strange detail in our first I've nevers seen before in any hotel. The shower had two shower heads in the same shower. The beds are comfortable and rooms quiet, so no issues sleeping. The roof-top infinity pool was nice with a view of Acropolis.

I had a wonderful stay at Vision Omonia! The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The service was exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always with a smile. The location is central and convenient, with easy access to transport, shops, and restaurants. Although the area is busy, the hotel feels like a peaceful retreat inside. A fantastic choice for both short and longer stays in Athens!

We traveled as a family to Athens and checked-in at Vision Omonia. The rooms were very modern and beautiful. Hence, the staff at the reception wasn't friendly at all, we kindly asked our request for an early check-in but they simply ignored it. Moreover, we had to pay for the refill of water in our room which I found that super narrow-minded. The pool on the rooftop was very nice, but even there and at the breakfast the service was just ok and the quality and food and beverages could be improved.

Extremely noisy! The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome during our stay. The pool area is cozy and a nice spot to relax. The rooms are spacious, but could benefit from some updates. Small improvements—like adding towel hooks—would go a long way, as there was nowhere to hang facial towels. Rooms facing the main road are extremely noisy, which made it difficult to sleep. On Saturday morning, we were woken up at 8 AM by loud drilling and hammering—definitely not the best experience, especially for a first-time guest. Overall, while the hotel has some positives, there may be better options available in Athens, especially for those looking for a quieter and more modern stay.
