Virtu on the Hill

A special place full of taste in the decoration in each detail. You feel that sense of warm that you can have at home and the kindness of Konstantia and team makes the entire experience a real little heaven. Food is great… you can perceive that the chef puts a lot of love while preparing these lovely plates:) Facilities all all perfectly managed, rooms super clean and breakfast brought each day with kindness in the room has been the cherry on the cake:) Last but not least… the view….no words for that …just peace :)

To be totally honest we have travelled to many greek islands and stayed at some beautiful places and I have never felt compelled to leave a review. My wife and I just both wanted to say the welcome, the hospitality and the service at the hotel was amazing. Nikki and her sister Constantina were so genuine and welcoming as were all the staff, apologies to all but Dulal and Jenny are the names I recall. The view is amazing from room 15, the hotel was always fully occupied but you felt that you were the only guests as it is so tranquil. We stayed 10 nights and would have gladly stayed longer, breakfast is included but we also ate in the evening and the food was so fresh and delicious. Our last evening we ate elsewhere but Nikki and the chef insisted we try the new menu starting that evening bringing tasters for us to try for free served by the Nikki's daughters. If you are thinking of visiting Naxos we would highly recommend you stay at Virtu on the Hill staff, service, location, decor, food everything is taken care of, all you need to do is relax and enjoy your time. PS every beach we visited was sandy,clean and crystal clear waters.

Virtu in the Hill is a true gem in Naxos. Warm, dedicated staff always happy to help. Stunning island views, a fun infinity pool, and cozy rooms with an incredibly comfortable bed. A delightful and highly recommended stay.

I can’t say enough about how special we felt staying at Virtu on the Hill. The scenery and location was amazing. This resort hotel is owner operated, and the owners stay on premises. We wanted a drink after the bar was closed, and the owner dropped what she was doing and served us. Konstantia is the most wonderful host we have ever experienced. We would come back to Naxos just to stay here. We absolutely loved it. I can’t imagine a better place we could have stayed. This place is heaven!

Her thoughtful recommendations and the extra attention she gave to every detail in our stay created an experience that was both personal and memorable. She truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and more. Our room was immaculate, modern, and incredibly comfortable, combining luxury with a sense of home. The highlight… A stunning view of the ocean that made every morning feel like a dream. Every detail—from the cleanliness to the interior design—was clearly curated with care and quality in mind, creating the perfect stay for our family. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible breakfast offered each morning. It was hands down the best we’ve ever had at any hotel in Greece. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, the breakfast included a variety of local and international options. In addition, the food and bar service throughout the day was equally impressive offering homemade local dishes made to perfection. What also stood out in a big way was the presence and warmth of the owners, Niki and Kosta. They were not just behind the scenes but fully engaged—hands-on, friendly, and genuinely committed to ensuring each guest had the best possible stay. That kind of dedication is rare, and it brought a heartfelt, human touch to the entire experience. We travel often and have stayed in many wonderful places, but Virtue on the Hill truly stands out as the best. Ideally located—just minutes from downtown Chora and only 5 minutes from the stunning Agios Prokopios Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Naxos. If you’re looking for elegance, delicious food, and world-class hospitality in the heart of beautiful Naxos, this is the place. We left feeling cared for, relaxed, and already planning our return. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team—you’ve created something truly special. Btw. we loved it so much we decided to extend our stay 3 extra days.
