Phaos 1870 a Restored Winery

We really enjoyed our stay at Phaos. It was hard to tell from the pictures & but each room includes some sort of private outdoor hot tub or pool with incredible views. The interior was very modern. Situated in a cute village with some lovely restaurant options. Only small things to be aware of is that the shower is open and the water spills out A LOT (we stayed in cave room). Also- like many of the hotels in pathos, the hotel is accessible by walking only you have to park and walk through these labyrinth paths. It can be a bit challenging to find the first time and beware if you have heavy bags. Overall would recommend especially for a romantic stay but pack light! :)

Booked here as part of our 10 year wedding anniversary. Airport pickup was seamless, communication with Christina was excellent, and she remained a very helpful point of information throughout our stay. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and really unique. The hot tub in the bedroom was a nice touch too. We would 100% come back here for definite and are really surprised to see so many bad reviews previously.

Stayed in October, the hotel is amazing with great views over the Aegean sea. Stuff was very helpful with everything and the location was great in the village of Pyrgos. Very good value for money the experience was great.

Beautiful location in the castle at Pygros. The room is dark, quiet and cool a welcome contrast to the hustle of tourists. The hot tub and views are spectacular. The beds are very comfortable and the interior design is modern. The room and location are unique and not to be compared with luxury hotels. Great for authentic travellers, perhaps those looking for service would be better in a hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Phaos 1870 in Santorini, and it was an experience that surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view that took my breath away!
