Panthea Studios by Greek Pride

The location is very good -- 50m from the town square, 100m from the closest beach bar (all have sunbeds that you pay for or have a minimum spend requirement). The building is decently maintained, there are some details that could be addressed (we had a power socket that was ripped out of the wall). The utilities all work ok, the furniture is decent (one bed in room 5 was broken), the AC is good, there is hot water permanently. They have a "studio for rent" policy ... no cleaning, no changing of towels or sheets (they said that if we stayed 10nights, they could do a refresh in the 5th). The little kitchenette was decent but lacked the most important item : The "something to make coffee" .. not even a 30€ coffee filter. There were glasses, plates, cutlery, pots, a pan and an electric stove . There was a small refrigerator (not the little ones from hotels, this one was actually useful for keeping something for breakfast and deep freeze a bottle of whiskey). Warning - Room No.8 had a bathroom with no ventilation ... even if it has a wall to the outside they didn't bother to put a fan or a small window. Also, there was no hair drier, so bring your own. Check-in is at 15.00, but the rooms were ready when we arrived. They were nice and allowed us in before the check-in time. The pictures are of Room No.8 and were taken as we were leaving, please excuse the "not perfect" mess.

You can enter the room after 2 pm! They didn't change the bedding nor the towels, they didn' t clean the rooms not once in ten days. There was a pile of sand from washing off the feet in front of our door, nobody cleaned that. There were minor faults in the room, some of them were fixed, some not. The room is nice, the kitchen and the bathroom small, but functional. The terrace is really pretty and in shade. The location is good, the nearby beach is great, apart from the kids racing cars all night on a parking in front of the house!
