🌅 Ostria Resort & Spa is more than just a hotel — it’s an experience of laid-back luxury on the sun-drenched coast of Crete. From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed with warmth and hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The resort is beautifully designed, with lush gardens, elegant pools, and direct access to a stunning private beach. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, offering the perfect mix of comfort and style. Every meal feels like a celebration of Cretan flavors — fresh, local, and delicious. The spa is a true highlight: peaceful, pampering, and designed to help you fully disconnect. Whether you're lounging poolside, sipping cocktails at sunset, or enjoying one of the many activities, there’s a sense of effortless relaxation everywhere. Ostria is the kind of place you leave feeling lighter, happier, and already dreaming of your next visit. ☀️💆‍♀️🍃

The whole is more than 5* Beautiful architecture of the hotel-town, stone, gardens, wood, beautiful rooms, the resort has everything you need, with class in a good style, you will not find here any tackiness or kitsch. Very high level of service, starting from waiters, chefs, bartenders and the pizza guy who is a wonderful man, pizza better than in Italy, during the day in the restaurant by the pool and in the evening for dinner at Orion. Delicious food, large selection, beautifully decorated mono portions, seafood, fish, beef, various vegetables. Desserts 11/10. A wonder! If anyone is wondering, I think that at least once in their life they should come here, experience and remember. The gentlemen from water sports are very nice. The hotel offers a lot. Attention to detail, cleanliness. Beautiful olives. The owner of the hotel personally checks with his own eyes if everything is fine, I passed him several times, and in the hotel everything works like a Swiss watch. Thank you and definitely see you 💛🇬🇷 Ps. Kids Club the best. Ps1. The doctor at the hotel is wonderful for my daughter.

We had a very pleasant stay at Ostria Beach. The rooms are in excellent condition – modern, clean, and well-maintained. The entire resort is kept very clean, and the food is not only delicious but also varied and of high quality. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that it can get quite windy here, which seems to be a regular occurrence. Additionally, the water in the pools is rather cold, which might be uncomfortable for some guests. Overall, a great place to stay with just a few minor drawbacks.

An excellent hotel with a unique atmosphere, designed in the style of a traditional Greek village, leaving a very pleasant impression. Very clean, probably recently renovated, and literally opened just in time for our arrival (April 2025). The food was fantastic, fresh, varied, and well-prepared. In the bars, besides local spirits like raki, ouzo, and mastiha, they also served selected branded alcohols. The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel is located in a less attractive part of the island, and traveling around Crete requires patience, but there were two local rental agencies nearby that delivered cars directly to the hotel at very reasonable prices (half the hotel rates – for example, a 2024 Peugeot 2008 for 160 euros). Overall, I rate the experience very highly as a place with soul, well-designed, comfortable, and definitely worth returning to.

In general, great place with great infrastructure, so 5 stars are well deserved. However, I believe that detailed opinion is needed :) Pros: - hotel is really clean, both rooms and place as a whole, regularly cleaned and maintained - food, perfect with vegetarian and sometimes vegan options - number of pools, you can pick the one you like whether you want to be in more calm setup or near the bar and available entertainments - self-reliance, if you don’t want to see the island, you don’t have to leave the hotel. Everything is in place. Cons: - location of the hotel is causing really windy weather and I have feeling that hotel is not always prepared for that. Starting from unsecured stuff that possibly fly and hurt someone (you can read about that in opinions here), ending with (in my case) wind knocking the door in the night which you need to get used to to have calm sleep - French bias, I saw lots of polish people here saying about feeling discriminated. I haven’t felt any discrimination but some bias is there, definitely. That you can feel during evening animations. On one hand, most of the people joining animations are French which makes sense to make it more “French-oriented”, on the other if you are non-French and want to join the fun, it’s really hard to do so. Example, night of guessing songs - pretty easy game which does not need much explanation in any language but why play only French songs? There’s no chance for other people to join it. I would try to make attractions more open to the world.
