A Wonderful Family Getaway at Marathon Beach Resort! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife, our 6-year-old son, and I recently stayed at the Marathon Beach Resort in Greece, and we were absolutely blown away by the experience from the moment we arrived. The resort looks stunning right from the entrance — beautifully designed and immaculately maintained. The reception staff welcomed us warmly and were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They assisted with our booking and took the time to show us around the resort, which made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a super king-size bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The attention to cleanliness and detail was impressive. Breakfast each morning was a highlight — there were plenty of healthy options along with a variety of delicious treats. The bar also offered a wide selection of cocktails, each one crafted with care and creativity. What truly made the stay special for our family was how kid-friendly the resort is. Our 6-year-old son absolutely loved the playground and had the time of his life playing there every day. We can’t recommend Marathon Beach Resort enough for families looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and high-quality vacation experience. We’re already planning our next visit!

The hotel is very family-friendly, with a fun pool area, a tennis court, and a varied breakfast served by the pool. The location is good – close to Athens and the promenade with plenty of restaurants around. We and our kids had a great time before the flight.

I live in Athens, but I wanted to get away for a weekend. I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Maria, also the manager and the entire reception staff was beyond friendly and accommodated. The staff at the pool, including the pool bar were terrific as well.. This is dog friendly resort, which is hard to find . The pool was amazing. The drinks were amazing. The food and the pool side was great.. The hotel is very clean and beautiful . Very Miami vibe. If you’re looking for a place to stay while you’re in Athens or if you’re just looking for a getaway, this is the perfect spot. I definitely will be returning, and I think everyone for their hospitality !

It is situated right next to the sea and close to a walkable path that allows you to walk to many beautiful beaches! You can see remnants of a more active resort! For what you 💰 pay, it’s fair! The breakfast is ready and waiting poolside with all the important ingredients-fresh fruit, fresh bread, Greek yogurt and great ☕️!They really help with any request you may have! Loved the service and location! Not to miss, the pool💙 is fantastic -beautiful set -up!

We stayed here for 4 nights, overall it was a very good experience. The good: Great location, with easy access to the beach across the street. Many nice restaurants in walking distance. Pool area is really nice. Rooms are good, we had a family room which was ideal for 2 adults and 2 kids. Staff at the reception and the pool area are all very nice. I was worried about the breakfast after reading the reviews, but I found it to be just fine. Nothing fancy but it has all the basics. Quick laundry service at a reasonable price. Good food and drinks at the pool bar. The bad: Super uncomfortable, ultra-thin blankets on the beds. The staff were unable to come up with a suitable replacement. It’s impossible to take a shower without absolutely soaking the entire bathroom. Housekeeping (room cleaning) usually happened quite late (around 5 PM) and was pretty minimal.
