We very much enjoyed our weekend getaway there. The owner was super kind and welcomed us with a bottle of wine and fresh walnuts. The room was clean, warm and well stocked with everything we needed. Breakfast was decent and included fresh bread and eggs, local cheese, orange juice, homemade jam and marmalade.

We stayed at Gilery for family vacations (2 kids: 3 and 5 years old). I would highly recommend the place for families who want to relax and take their mind off their kids and for nature lovers. The place has a jaw dropping view of the mountains' side fully covered with trees. You can feel the ground, breath the clean air of the trees and slow down and enjoy Lagkadia (a picturesque village) as a native. Cars do not have access around the Gilery area so you and your kids can play around in safety. Finally, George, the host, is very welcoming and helpful. He gave us the best advice to make our stay unforgettable! We are definitely coming back!
