Elisso Hotel – Vasiliki, Greece We had a fantastic stay at Elisso Hotel! The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and most have amazing sea views – perfect for enjoying the sunset from your balcony. The location is unbeatable – just 5 meters from the beach. You step out of the hotel and you’re right on the shore! There’s a beautiful walking path along the beach, great for relaxing strolls, especially in the evening. The hotel bar is a real highlight – the cocktails are absolutely worth trying, with great variety and quality. Overall, Elisso is the perfect spot for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation in Vasiliki. Highly recommended!

Warning! Do NOT book Elisso Hotel in Vasiliki, Lefkada – this is far from a four-star hotel I strongly advise everyone against booking this hotel. Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish, and it absolutely does not meet the standard of a four-star establishment. The breakfast was unacceptable. Everything was old and seemed to have been frozen days in advance. The egg yolks were black/orange, and some eggs appeared almost rotten. The chicken they served was pink and unsafe to eat – and yet they still tried to charge for it. The only somewhat edible items were turkey slices, watermelon, and bread. The staff barely speaks English, except for the receptionists – and even the reception is often left unattended because they’re busy with something else. You can’t get help when you need it. The beds in the rooms were extremely uncomfortable and hard, making it impossible to sleep through the night without constantly tossing and turning. The pool area was very unhygienic. The water in the pool had a greenish color and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The hotel’s "gym" is downright dangerous. The machines are rusty, and the cables are broken – you can't use them without risking injury. Laundry service is ridiculously overpriced: €4 per shirt, €2.50 per pair of socks. The outdoor toilet near the pool (where you’re expected to shower after swimming) had broken door handles – they fell off when we tried to use the door. This is not just a bad hotel – it’s a safety hazard. I honestly have no idea how it has received four stars. The entire place is mismanaged, unhygienic, and completely unprofessional. Avoid Elisso Hotel at all costs. There are far better and safer options in the area. I truly wish we had booked somewhere else.

The food was terrible – barely edible – and breakfast was bland with frozen items. The pool was dirty with greenish water and floating debris. The “gym” had one broken, unsafe machine. Rooms were old, smelled bad, and the bathroom door couldn’t even lock. Most staff didn’t speak English and service was poor. They also work with a taxi company that charges far above normal rates. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at the Elisso Hotel. The staff are very friendly, led by their Manager Sophia. Despite some initial mix up with our booking, Sophia was very accommodating and managed to find a brilliant solution. Breakfast includes Greek local dishes as well as continental. The pool makes up for a great relaxion. Brilliant location also, full of fun, and adventure for all. Vasiliki area has variety of options for dining and exploring.

I recently stayed at an amazing hotel in Lefkada and I have to share my wonderful experience. The hotel is centrally located in a beautiful spot, with breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding mountains. The service was simply exceptional – the entire staff was courteous, professional, and ready to assist with any question or request. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything needed for maximum comfort. I particularly loved the private balcony in my room, from which I could enjoy the stunning views of the island. The hotel's facilities were of very high standards. The large, clean pool, the luxurious spa, and the well-equipped gym all contributed to a unique and pampering experience. The hotel's restaurant served delicious and varied food, and the breakfast was rich and diverse, with fresh and high-quality products. In addition to all this, the hotel offers numerous activities and attractions in the area, such as nature tours, water sports, and visits to local tourist sites. The staff was very helpful in providing recommendations and guidance for enjoying the island. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a vacation in Lefkada. It is a top-notch hotel that provides an unforgettable experience of comfort and service .
