We loved staying at this hotel, the location was by far the best feature, we were walkable to all the main attractions in Athens and a TON of food options. The staff were very friendly, this hotel and the rooms were clean, and cool. It was a great place to relax after a long day of walking. I loved how homey the hotel felt, the lobby windows were cracked every morning. This is not an Americanized hotel, so when visiting keep that in mind, it’s not a high rise, and the rooms are not huge.

Terrible experience — avoid at all costs. This was by far one of the worst hospitality experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel felt like a scam — they took our money and provided no support, and Expedia was no help either. First, the property was completely misrepresented. There was no mention of the endless stairs, making it extremely difficult for elderly guests to access. When we kindly asked to change rooms, the staff responded with a rude and dismissive attitude, as if we were being punished for complaining. After just one night, we told them we would be leaving early and requested not to be charged for the remaining nights. Again, we were met with complete disrespect and told we would be charged regardless. To make matters worse, after we left, they double-booked the room and still refused any refund — completely unprofessional behavior. I’m Greek, and I can honestly say this is not the hospitality Greece is known for. I urge future travelers to read the other reviews carefully — and also take note of how the owners respond to criticism. It says everything you need to know.

Do not recommend! Our first trip to Greece and we were disappointed upon arrival. We paid $1600 for 3 nights. Our room was hot. AC did not work well. The street noise was very loud from the windows which had bars on them. It felt and looked like a hostile. The photos Online looked nothing like it did in person. We did not get a refund and booked another hotel and checked out immediately! That all being said after we checked into a different hotel, we had the best time in Greece!!

I stayed 4 nights at this quirky hotel. Staff are wonderfully helpful. Breakfast is adequate and the location is great. Within easy walking distance to most of the main attractions. Restaurants, cafes, bars etc are very close by. My room was clean and quiet. What more could you want.

BED BUGS. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, the hotel was kind enough to upgrade us to the Deluxe Room, but after the 2nd night we discovered bed bugs in the room, crawling on us, I had been bitten a few times. I was hesitant to write a review about the hotel because the service has been good enough and breakfast was free so I am otherwise happy enough. But now I risk taking bed bugs back to my home and I have a few itchy bites. After telling the staff, they'd moved us to another room but we still found a bedbug in the next room. It seems like there have been reviews for at least 9 months talking about bugs at this hotel, so it's worrying that the hotel operator/owner has done nothing about this issue. I looked at the mattresses and discovered they were rather yellow and very aged/old looking. I didn't ask for a refund but I am surprised the hotel didn't offer any compensation for this issue. Beside the bugs - nice, friendly staff and good hotel.
