Dire Straits Legacy Tour 2024

Almost 40 years after their historic concerts at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, legendary British pop band Dire Straits will once again be performing live on Greek soil, at Athens’ Technopolis on June 27 and at Moni Lazariston in Thessaloniki on June 29.

Athens and Thessaloniki are stops on a world tour dedicated to the memory of recently deceased Jack Sonni, a member of Dire Straits during the period of the iconic album "Brothers in Arms" and the band’s legendary performance at Live Aid '85.

Dire Straits Legacy consists of original band members Alan Clark, Mel Collins, Phil Palmer, Danny Cummings and Marco Caviglia (a world authority on Knopfler's unique guitar technique). Grammy Award-winning Christiano Micalizzi, multi-instrumentalist Primiano Di Biase and special guests Steve Walters and John Illsley will also be appearing.
