Vovousa Festival 2025

Returning this year from July 19 to August 9, the Vovousa Festival brings arts, nature and community together in the heart of the North Pindus mountains, in the village of Vovousa in eastern Zagori. Now in its 10th year, the festival celebrates creativity and environmental awareness through a rich programme of concerts, film screenings, dance performances, art exhibitions, talks, photography workshops, children's activities, and culinary experiences including local product tastings and truffle-hunting excursions.

Set against the backdrop of the Aoos River, the festival promotes the protection of one of Greece’s most pristine ecosystems. This year, a highlight is the collaboration with Shedia – Greece’s street magazine and social enterprise supporting people experiencing homelessness – which brings an added dimension of social dialogue and inclusion.

With events for all ages and a setting that invites exploration, the Vovousa Festival is a celebration of mountain culture that resonates far beyond the village.
