With our six-hour tour you will have the chance to experience the way of life here on Kefalonia, see many of the islands main attractions and have the chance to experience the laid back, relaxed feel that is typical of the island. The itinerary we suggest is described below, however with all private tours the itineraries are completely flexible as we will tailor make the day to suit you. We can start and finish the tour from any destination on the island.

We would collect you from the port and start the day with a visit to the Drogarati Caves, which are a vast underground cave formation with many stalagmites and stalactites that have developed over thousands of years. From there we will journey on to the Melissani Lake. Perhaps the most visited sight of Kefalonia the Melissani Lake is under the ground but has a huge opening to the outside world directly above the water, allowing the sunlight to turn the water the most incredible shade of blue. You will be taken around the lake on a small boat by one of the locals of the area who will explain to you the history as they row you around this magnificent sight.

The next stop of the day will be at the beautiful Myrtos Beach, which brings many visitors to the island every year to swim in the turquoise waters. You will have time on the beach for sunbathing and swimming, so don’t forget your swimsuit! When you are completely relaxed and used to the slow-paced way of life here on Kefalonia, we will take you to visit Assos. This idyllic traditional fishing village is the perfect place to take time to enjoy a coffee or lunch on the waterfront and soak up the charming atmosphere. Some say that this is the most picturesque place on the island, so why not visit and see for yourself?!

From Assos we will take you back to the port, stopping above Myrtos Beach to see the beach from a different angle and take many spectacular photographs from the best viewpoint possible. We guarantee that at the end of the tour you will be sure to wish to return to Kefalonia in order to see more of what this wonderful island has to offer and relive the memories from this day.
