The hotel was worth its money. For a family is a good option. The rooms were clean and tidy and the personnel really helpful and ready to answer any question. However the area is quite concerning, it has drug addicts and homeless people. Apart from that everything else is fine.

It was a good place to sleep, air conditioner worked etc. But customerservice was quite poor. Maybe the receptionist didn't talk english well, but could have said hi and smiled during the check in. And neighbourhood wasn't too pleasant either. Some local guy, mistreated by life, was shooting up 10m from the door the morning we left.

The staff were amazing and so friendly. They are 24/7 check in and always happy to help. Omonia is known as a high crime rated area but everyone makes it out to be worse than it is, if you dont engage with them they wont with you. Highly reccomend this place!

Unacceptable Behavior – Unsafe and Disrespectful Treatment Our experience at Stalis Hotel was absolutely unacceptable and deeply disturbing. We arrived late at night, exhausted and expecting a room that had been arranged for us by the ADAF festival — only to be told by the receptionist (a man on duty on the night of 03 to the 04 April) that no room was available. Instead of offering help or a solution, he was rude, aggressive, sarcastic, and completely unprofessional. He laughed at us, told us to “just sleep on the couches until the morning”, and made it very clear we were not welcome. He kept repeating that the “whole hotel was booked by ADAF” in a mocking tone, without offering any assistance or empathy. We were four artists, arriving late with suitcases, and instead of basic hospitality or even decency, we were met with hostility and mockery. Eventually, we had to walk through one of the most dangerous streets in Athens, dragging our luggage in the dark, where we were followed by people staying in the streets around and had to literally run through alleyways to find safety. The hotel offered us no help — no alternative, no care for our safety, nothing. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had while traveling professionally. I do not recommend Stalis Hotel to anyone. The lack of professionalism, safety, and basic human respect is beyond appalling.
