The heart of Greek basketball beats for a 5th year in a row in Syros, with the AegeanBall Festival.
Returning on July 7-9 in the capital of the Cyclades, it combines top European basketball athletes, Olympic champions, academy children, youngsters, amateurs and professionals.
Inspired by Giorgos Printezis, a Greek basketball star for almost two decades (a EuroLeague record holder, captain of the Greek national team and Olympiacos legend), the AegeanBall Festival is much more than an athletic festival. It is a social event, spreading the value of fair play, bringing people closer together and encouraging healthy living through sports.
This year's programme includes the following races and competitions:
- U11 (boys-girls born in 2012-2014).
- U13 (boys-girls born in 2010-2011).
- U15 (boys-girls born in 2008-2009).
- U17 (boys-girls born 2006-2007).
- Open 18+ ELITE (men-women born in 2005 and later).
- Veterans 35+ (men-women born in 1988 and later).
For those athletes who want to take part in the event, but cannot find a team, there is the possibility to create teams by the organizing authority.

- For U11 & U13 categories, the participation fee per person is 5€ per person.
- For U15 & U17 categories the participation per person is 10€.
- For the categories Open 18+ ELITE & Veterans 35+ the participation fee is 15€ per person.
