The 2023 Vovousa Festival (FBC23) returns for three unforgettable weeks, from 15 July to 5 August, with musical events, contemporary dance performances, hiking excursions, truffle hunting, workshops, screenings and more.
Taking place for a 9th time in the tiny village in the North Pindus region of Greece, the mountain festival is dedicated to environmental protection.
Highlights this year include a collaboration with the Athens Czech Centre, a tribute to film director Eleni Alexandraki and the photo exhibition of Penelope Thomaidi, an Athens-based photographer working on personal documentary photography projects dealing with environmental and social issues.
