Traditional Dance Festival - Syrianopato 2025

For three days in June, the island of Syros pulses with rhythm, colour and tradition as the Syrianopato Festival of Traditional Dances returns to Ermoupoli for its 7th edition.

Held from June 19 to 22, this joyful celebration brings together children’s, teenage and adult dance groups from across Greece and beyond, showcasing the richness of their music and folk dance traditions in one of the Aegean’s most elegant island capitals.

Expect open-air performances, feasts, guided tours, and a programme of cultural activities that highlight the living heritage of Greece through the energy and passion of its people – young and old alike.
