The Megaron Garden of the Athens Concert Hall hosts the Open Platforms on 10 July, promising a colourful musical journey, from the calm jazz sounds of Blend Orchestra to the charm of ethnic group Argalios and body percussionists Bodyterranean. All three bands are part of the GEFYRES cycle in an event that aims to promote young artists through physical and online auditions.

Blend Orchestra is a collaborative project that integrates elements from traditional and classical music to electronic sound synthesis, creating ambient and cinematic music.

Argalios is a multifaceted ensemble including pianist Alexandros Iosifidis and vocalist and percussionist Zoe Mantzou that interacts with different soloists through improvisation, folk music and poetry. Their style is to create a free flowing and chaotic yet coherent whole.

Bodyterranean was born in Athens as a result of the marriage of the traditional music of Greece and Italy with the modern language of Body Music by Simone Mongelli (percussionist, body music performer and teacher). Having first appeared as a music album, it evolved into a musical performance by a group of intensively trained young musicians and dancers.
