A masterpiece of modern Greek literature, the short story by Georgios Vizyenos «My Mother’s Sin» (1883), is presented in English, in an attempt to connect the English-speaking audience with contemporary cultural creation. Vizyenos draws narrative material from personal and family memories, from the traditions and experiences of simple life in his homeland and reinforces it with the solid background of his education. The performance has already been presented with great success in leading Academic Institutions of the United States of America for two consecutive years (2018-2019).
