KOUZINA Festival

Eastern Halkidiki’s signature culinary celebration is back—bigger and more delicious than ever. Spanning four whole months (May 15 to September 15), the KOUZINA Festival 2025 invites visitors to explore the unique tastes and traditions this magical region in northern Greece through dozens of main events and hundreds of parallel gastronomic and cultural activities.

This year’s festival shines a spotlight on local wine, honey and monastic cuisine.

Highlights include:

• Live cooking demonstrations by acclaimed chefs, featuring dishes made with wine lees.
• A tribute to beekeeping and honey production, in collaboration with local and international producers.
• A celebration of Athonian wine, with a special focus on the ancient Limnio grape grown on the slopes of Mount Athos.

Organised by the Municipality of Aristotle and its Gastronomy Cluster, KOUZINA showcases how culinary traditions vary across land and sea, from the organic products of Mount Athos' monasteries, to the wineries and dairies of Mount Cholomontas, and delicious tastes from the fishing fleets of Ammouliani, Ierissos, Pyrgadikia, Nea Roda and Olympiada.
